through the years my first picture is of your
smile- always there

Your dedication to Torah learning
is truly exemplary

Your articles of Divrei Torah for Likutei Peshatim
were always scholarly and full of deep thought
There were quite lengthy- and I had to
type many of them

But I learned so much from them

You were always so thrilled to come to my
desk and tell me about your children- their
engagements, their marriages and their babies

Then you made aliyah and joined them

My best wishes to you and Chava for
continued success in all that you do and
much nachas from your family

We have collaborated for so many years on the
publication of the Likutei Peshatim. So many discussions
about the meaning and various nuances of the Divrei
Torah – so many deliveries of the drafts back and forth
between us.
This was your baby. You are the one who initiated the
whole project while in Beis Midrash and, together with
Rabbi Don Well, we have brought Likutei Peshatim
from its infancy to the present. Everyone reads Likutei
Peshatim! In many homes it supplies Divrei Torah for the
family on Shabbos. It is also such a wonderful source
of publicizing community events and sharing family
simchas. We have seen Likutei Peshatim grow from a
small four-page issue to a six-pager, and now the even
longer six-pager.
Your depth of Torah learning is remarkable, and your
dedication and efforts toward this undertaking week after
week are to be commended.
On a personal note, you were my son Adam’s first
Rebbe in Fasman Yeshiva High School, and my younger
sons, Josh and Aaron, would go to the Friday night shiur
at your home every week while in high school.
It has truly been a pleasure and an honor to work
together with you for all these years, and I consider you
and your dear wife Esther to be good friends.
