Sta Editor Message
Being the staff editor of the magazine - Deeksha, it gives me great pleasure
to bring you this issue.
The essential purpose of College Magazine is to inform, engage, inspire and entertain
a diverse readership - including alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and other friends.
The magazine endeavors to present an intimate, timely and honest portrait of the College
- its mission. its history, its people, its programs its challenges, and its resources
The student today is an individual, is a real person with feelings of self-respect,
sensitivity, responsibility and compassion. We need to recognize, appreciate, applaud
and foster the fine blend of sensibilities in a student– and thus this magazine is to be
viewed as a launch pad for the student’s creative urges to blossom naturally. As the
saying goes, mind like parachute works best when opened. This humble initiative is to
set the budding minds free allowing them to roam free in the realm of imagination and
experience to create a world of beauty in words.
With a sense of pride and satisfaction I would like to say that with the active support
of the management, principal, faculty and students, Deeksha has come alive and vibrant.
With all the efforts and contributions put in by the students, I truly hope that the pages
that follow will make some interesting reading.
I congratulate the editorial team for strengthening their commitment in breathing life
into these pages.
Best regards

"Dream, dream and dream. Dream transforms to thoughts and thoughts
result in action". Deeksha 2016 was a dream. The dream which was not seen in
the sleep. The dream for which we sacrificed our sleep. Pursuing the responsibility
of student editor was not a mere task. I was shattered many times during my
journey. Deeksha was a star in the sky which always looked at me and smiled. I was
a girl who tried to catch the star. At last I won and now the star is in your hands.
Life is generous to those who believe in their dreams and who keeps on trying
to pursue it.
I am sincerely thankful to Neetha mam who always supported me and guided me.
My parents ,brother ,well wishers and my whole editorial committee especially

who gave brightness to the star by expressing their thoughts, views, love, emotions

You cannot change your future,
but you can change your habits,
and surely your habits will change
your future.
| Deeksha Excellence is a continuous process and not an accident.
End is not the end, in fact E.N.D means Effort Never Dies.
It is very easy to defeat someone, but it is very hard to win someone.
You have a dream before your dream can come true.
To become unique the challenge is to fight the hardest battle which anyone can imagine
untill you reach your destination.
Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow.
Great teachers emanate out of knowledge, passion and compassion.
Life is a difficult game. You can win it only by retaining your birth right to be a person.
Poetry comes from the highest happiness or the deepest sorrow.
Those who cannot work with their hearts achieve but a hollow, half-hearted success that
breeds bitterness all around.
Be more dedicated to making solid achievements than in running after swift but synthetic
happiness.
We should not give up and we should not allow the problem to defeat us.
If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun.

MEMORIES
The nature gifts us many things,
While they are precious just as wings,
As time passes by, all these goes,
Whether we will get there ,no one Knows
The Moments spent with loved ones together,
Will not continue until forever,
These moments will come and go,
But memories remains, though
Memories come in the form of rain
And we remember what had brought us pain
But, the mother earth brings us peace
with its aroma, all trouble cease
The perfume of the bathed earth,
Its just like, I am a rebirth,
Just like a lotus, in the dirt,
I know, I am someone worth
The memories then, fill up my mind,
You and me, together I find,
'Give us rain', Oh Lord, we did pray,
For you and me, it was fun to play
The earth with its beautiful smell,
Heals the one who are unwell,
People who hurt nature, have lost their mind
So she tries man and nature to bind,
Thank you Lord, for a mother so pure
who loves us a lot, if it for sure,
Let her live long, let her live strong,
So that she reminds us to whom we belong

there is something between me & him. Not my blood,
but my BROTHER! My BROTHER...The real story of my
brother.
I met him for the first time as my friends brother.
But at that time, I didnt knew that he will become my
brother. He was a silent person won't talk too much
to anyone and always tried to keep a distance with
everyone. These characters attracted me a lot. But still
I dont know, how we became so close. I forced and he
came for my birthday party. Slowly he became a part of
my life. I dont know whether I can love anyone like this
even he is not my blood. Through him I came to know
that the word “BROTHER” has got a great meaning in
my life.
Even if I am away there are only few people in my
life who can be able to understand me by hearing my
voice. Such a person is my brother.
Now he is loving me 100 times more than how much
I loved him. The worst day in my life, still I remember it
I cried a lot when I had a problem with him that day I
realise the truth, how much i loved my brother.
Most happiest day in my life was when his mother
called me and made me to sleep by singing song. It
was a day which was still memorable. I got care and
affection from a mother after a long interval of my
mothers death. I have not seen him many times in my
life but I still loved him very much. It is not just a story.
But it is my life, the story of my soul.
