STATEMENT OF JURISDICTION

Review Petition No. 17 of 2020 in Civil Appeal No. 17of 2020 (under Rule XLVII of
Supreme Court Rules)

The respondents submit to the jurisdiction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Flavia under
Rule XLVII of The Supreme Court Rules by virtue of which this court has power to entertain
the review petitions.

Criminal Appeal No. 62 of 2020 (under Article 136 of the Constitution of Flavia)

The respondents submit to the jurisdiction of this Hon’ble Court under Article 136 of the
Constitution of Flavia which deals with the special leave petitions. Article 136 vests the
Supreme Court of Flavia, the apex court of the country, with a special power to grant special
leave, to appeal against any judgment or order or decree in any matter or cause, passed or
made by any Court/tribunal in the territory of Flavia.

Criminal Appeal No. 85 of 2020 (under Article 136 of the Constitution of Flavia)
The respondent submits to the jurisdiction of this Hon’ble Court under Article 136 of the
Constitution of Flavia which vests the power to entertain special leave petitions. Article 136
vests the Supreme Court of Flavia, the apex court of the country, with a special power to
grant special leave, to appeal against any judgment or order or decree in any matter or cause,
passed or made by any Court/tribunal in the territory of Flavia.

Writ Petition (Criminal) No. 107 of 2020 (Under Article 32 of the Constitution of Flavia)
The respondents submit to the jurisdiction sought by the petitioners before this Hon’ble
Court under Article 32 of the Constitution of Flavia as it provides the remedies for
enforcement of rights conferred by Part III of the constitution.
