Ordering Tips

How much food do I need? When catering for lunch or dinner we recommend
one half sandwich for every guest and an additional half sandwich for half of
your guest count. 30 half sandwiches is perfect for 20 guests.

Presentation Recommendations

Our salads, pasta salads and party platters will look amazing in your favorite
serving bowl or platter, so don't be afraid to re-plate your food. Position utensils

and napkins at the end of your catering spread so that guests don't have to
juggle while serving their food. Let our catering specialist help with set up and

we'll be sure that everything is plated the way you prefer.

Sandwiches

All sandwiches are served on a variety of wheat berry, croissant and French
Parisian breads. Platters come with your choice of two sides,along with Creole
Mustard or Newk’s Original Honey Mustard and Hellmann’s® mayonnaise. A
Simply Salad or Caesar Salad may be substituted for both sides.

Newk’s School Program Guide

Middle school/High school athletic teams, organizations,
and general catering

Catering - Newk’s can cater any sports team or school organization
event. We offer box lunches that are perfect for field trips or away
game travel. Various sandwich platters, salad bowls and desserts
trays are also available for on-site meals.

Sports sponsorships - School sporting events are an exciting part of
the school year. Award your Player of the Game with a Newk’s gift
card. Designate Newk’s as the official pre or post-game restaurant
and we’ll provide free meals for the coaching staff and in-game
announcers.

Concessions/Vending - Newk’s can assist with your concession stand
and vending activities. We offer box lunches, cups, Newk’s tea,
desserts and Grand N Go items packaged perfectly for sale at your
concession stand.

High school

Fundraisers - Designate a specific date and time for a fundraiser
night at the local Newk’s where a portion of restaurant sales are
donated to the school. Schools should promote this fundraising
event through their communication channels-PTA meetings, parent
emails, etc. We’ll also provide stickers for each student the day
of the fundraiser so they can wear those home. Invite teachers,
mascots, school spirit teams or any other school group to participate
in the fundraiser event.

Student incentives - Reward scholastic achievement with a free
kid’s meal certificate from Newk’s. We’ll provide the certificates free
of charge and schools distribute the certificates to the students.
Achievement program certificates offered are: 1) honor roll 2)
perfect attendance 3) reading program 4) good behavior 5) Welcome
to school. If your school offers an incentive program not listed,
let us know.

Faculty and Administration

Catering - What better way to show your teacher appreciation than
with a catered meal from Newk’s! Whether it’s a teacher work day or
just a special Friday treat, it’s a great token of appreciation.
This is also a great program to offer the entire school on a certain
day of the week. Any student can order Newk’s for lunch and a
portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the school.
