WARM-UPS

➔ 2 LAP AROUND THE GYM
➔ STRETCH

◆ Left arm over 10 seconds
◆ Right arm over 10 seconds
◆ Straight leg stretch 10 seconds
◆ To the left 10 seconds
◆ To the middle 10 seconds
◆ To the right 10 seconds
◆ One leg stretch left 10 seconds
◆ One leg stretch righ

MUSICAL CHAIRS (HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- chairs (one less than
the amount people playing and the
AUX cord

➔ Rules- play music and have
everyone walk around the chairs
without touching the chairs or
slowing down, when the music stops
you must sit in the chair that you
are in front of, if you do not have a
seat then you are out, there is no
sitting on laps or two people sitting
on one chair, every time you start a
new round you have to remove one
chair so it always be one less chair

➔ Time- 10 minutes
➔ Key skills - listening to the music,

looking at the chairs and quickness

BROOM HOCKEY (FULL COURT)

➔ Equipment- brooms, rubber ball
and goals

➔ Rules- make two goals, start the
game with a faceoff in the center,
opponents attempt to hit the ball in
the opposite goal, the goalie is
allowed to block shots in anyway,
penalties are holding the puck with
hands or feet, high sticking/
unnecessary roughness, if receive a
penalty the opposite team gets a
free shot

➔ Time- 20 minutes
➔ Key skills- quickness, focus

CRAB KICK (HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- any type of ball, and a
goal

➔ Rules- get into two equal groups
then sit on the floor at opposite
ends, each side will have a goal,
when the game starts each player
must crab walk the whole game,
after the goal is scored the ball gets
place back in the middle and the
game resumes, the first team to
make 5 wins

➔ Time- 20 minutes
➔ Key skills- quickness

HULA HOOP RELAY (HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- hula hoops
➔ Rules- you have two even teams

each forms a circle by holding
hands, put a hula hoop over one
players arm, without letting go of
each other you will have to step
inside the hula hoop to pass it to
the next person you want to
continue doing this until you get it
through the entire circle the first
team to complete it wins
➔ Time- 30 minutes
➔ Key skills- paying attention

SIMON SAYS (HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- none
➔ Rules- one person stands in the

front they are “Simon”, Simon then
tells the group what they must do by
saying “Simon says” if he/she
doesn’t say “Simon says” then you
don’t do it, ex. “Simon says jump up
and down” then you jump up and
down, but if he/she says “jump up
and down” you stay still if you do it
you are out because they didn't say
“Simon says” at the beginning, last
player standing wins
➔ Time- 20 minutes
➔ Key skills- listening

BED SHEET PING PONG (HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- sheet and ping pong
balls

➔ Rules- players stand and hold a bed
sheet on opposite ends, a ping
pong ball is placed onto the sheet,
the sheet is then lowered, the object
of the game is to get the ping pong
ball to fall off the other team’s side
of the sheet

➔ Time- 10 minutes
➔ Key skills- concentration

COPS AND ROBBERS (FULL COURT)

➔ Equipment- anything that can used as
gold, hula hoops

➔ Rules- place hula hoops all over the gym
(don’t put them close to each other), divide
the bean bags in the hula hoops, the
robbers will stand in the middle of the gym
and the cops stand around the gym, when
the game starts the cops will try to tag a
robber, when a robber is tagged they sit
where they got tagged, if a robber is in a
hula hoop with a bean bag they are
considered safe and can not be tag only
one robber at a time in the hula hoop

➔ Time- 10 minutes
➔ Key skills- quickness

TRUE OR FALSE (FULL COURT)

➔ Equipment- a goal
➔ Rules- divide into 2 teams stand on

opposite sides, one team is “true”
the other is “false”, each team has a
goal on their side, when the leader
give a true statement like “grass is
green” the true players for their goal
while being chased by the false
team, if tagged the members
become apart of the false team (and
the opposite if the question was
false), the team with the most
players win
➔ Time- 20 minutes
➔ Key skills- listening

THE BLOB TAG (FULL COURT)

➔ Equipment- none
➔ Rules- designate boundaries, one or

more students are the blob, anyone
tagged by the blob must jon hands
and become part of it, the objective
is for the blob to tag everyone and
for everyone else to stay alive as
long as possible
➔ Time- 20 minutes
➔ Key skills- quickness

BEAN BAG TOSS (HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- bean bags, goal
➔ Rules- you can have 2-4 players,

each team gets 4 bean bags to
throw, team members stand on
opposite ends and may throw from
either side of the box, each player
throw from behind the front of the
boxes this is the foul line, if player
passes the foul line the throw does
not count, each team alternates
with shots
➔ Time- 10 minutes
➔ Key skills- aim and concentration

TIC TAC TOE TOSS ( HALF COURT)

➔ Equipment- bean bags. tape
➔ Rules- alternate tossing the bean

bags into the target until either one
player has three in a row,
horizontally, vertically, or diagonally
or all the squares are filled to where
no one made three in a row, if a
player gets three in a row they win if
it gets all filled up without a three in
a row then its a draw
➔ Time- 10 minutes
➔ Key skills- concentration, aim and
attention

BEACH BALL RELAY RACE (HALF
COURT)

➔ Equipment- beach balls and cones
➔ Rules- there are two teams within

your team you have to pair up with
someone and place a beach ball in
between y'all, y'all are not allowed to
touch the ball in anyway, you have
to keep the ball on y’all side if it falls
you have to go back to the start,
you have to go through the obstacle
twice then come back and give it to
the next people in line, the first team
finish first wins
➔ Time- 30 minutes
➔ Key skills- quickness, balance, and
paying attention
