Adding Other Columns
If you would like to add other columns to this grid, such as Activity Minutes, Time In or Time
Out, then select the Column Chooser.
Select the Column Chooser option by right-clicking on any column header to bring up the
Chooser popup window. Then select the appropriate new columns to add. Drag and drop the
column headers from the popup window to the grey area above the column headers.

Use the Column Chooser to add or delete columns from the grid. In the example below, the
Time In and Time Out columns will be added to complement the Activity Minutes field.

Additional (Optional) Columns
Re-Inspection Date
If there is a Re-Inspection Date, use the Column Chooser to add the column.
Clicking on the down arrow in this field will display a calendar. Choose a date from the calendar
if one is needed for this field.

Record ID
The Record ID field allows you to link the record to a specific Service Request, Facility, or to
several other options. Start by clicking on the link icon on the right hand side of the field
(highlighted below by the red arrow). A pop-up menu will appear.

Select the record type you want from the drop-down list that appears at the top of the window.
Once you have selected the record type, click the “OK” button. (You can also double-click the
record type to select it.)

Depending upon the record type you select, you will be presented with various options. In the
example below, the record type selected was Service Request.
If you are satisfied with your selection, click on the “OK” button.

Once you have selected the record type to link to and clicked on “OK”, you will be returned to
the Time and Activities tab and the record type you selected will populate the Record ID field.

Time and Activities via Observation inspection
You can also create a Time and Activities record from the Home tab by either double-clicking
on a record, or selecting a record and then clicking the Observation inspection icon.

On the Inspection Details tab, fill in the following fields:
 Employee (it should auto-populate)
 Service
 Result
 Required action
 Activity Time (Start and Stop times, or just enter total minutes)
 Travel Time (if required)
 Any general comments appropriate to the record

When you have entered the required information into these fields, click on the Save icon in the
ribbon. You do not need to any violations of complete field in any other tabs.
When this tab is saved, it will create a daily record.

You can confirm that the daily record was saved by going to the History tab and expanding out
the folders for the facility this record belongs to.
In the example below, for the facility linked to this record, the folders are expanded to display
the facility and its sub-folders; then by Service Requests (the record type selected for linking to
this facility); then by the specific service request; then by the Daily Time and Activities folder
for that service request; and finally by clicking on the specific date for the daily activity that was
recorded (in this example, 5/7/2015).
The screen shot below shows the drill-down sequence for finding the specific daily record that
was saved.

Out in the Field – Review Inspection
To review or to continue working on an inspection that has been saved (but not yet locked), go to
the orange File tab and click on the tab.
From the drop-down menu, click on Time and Activities. A Time and Activities tab will open.

On the Time and Activities tab, select the inspection you want to review. Click on the Review
Inspection icon in the Ribbon to open the inspection. Review or update the inspection you want.

Back in the Office

Synchronizing EnvisionConnect Remote with EnvisionConnect
Once you have returned to the office, place your tablet computer in its docking station. Being
connected to the network via the docking station allows for the fastest rate of data transfer.
Click on the orange File tab, and then select the Synchronize icon from the drop-down list.
EnvisionConnect Remote will run through its six stages of synchronization. Depending upon the
number of facilities, records, attachments, forms, etc., this process may take a while, and will
differ for each individual.
Note: if the Facility Sync option was used and all inspections were not done, you will need to
facility sync the same facilities again.
