Secret Tale of Making Union Budget

What happens in the days running up to
the budget?

For preparation and printing of union
budget on India there are over 100 security
officials from the ministry of finance works
day in and day out from a basement in the
North Block of the Parliament. The officials
who are responsible for the printing of the
budget are locked up in the same basement
in the parliament and the budget document
is guarded with utmost secrecy that even
the Finance Minister is not allowed to take
his mobile phone inside the secret
basement where the budget is printed.
While that happens at the union level. We,
at MCA are always excited to analyse the
various amendments that would impact the
business of our clients. When a full team of
experts is working on the analysis of it, a lot
of energy can be felt at the office on the day
of budget. The excitement is at that high
level that the team works throughout night
to present the industry specific analysis.

team worked on analysing this year’s Union

Gaining a spot in everyone’s

heart with her loving “my dear”
and innocent smile, it has been
three and a half years since Surekha
has been a part of MCA Family. She
is one of the strong pillars of the
Accounts Vertical. She never fails to
bring joy and happiness to all those
around her. She was born and
brought up in Udupi and has
completed her MCom degree from
Bangalore University. Just like many of us, her favorite
food items remain those love- filled, homemade dishes,
especially her mother’s special Menthya Dosa. She spends
her leisure time watching TV and listening to music. She is
also a very good dancer. Her long term goals include
buying a car and owning her dream bungalow while
currently she is finding her soulmate. We wish her all the
best for her future endeavors.
