UNTUK PROGRAM DIPLOMA IN MARKETING

KPM SERI ISKANDAR
BAGI SESI 1/2021

1.0 PENGENALAN

Pihak Jabatan Pemasaran KPM Seri Iskandar telah merangka satu instrumen jaminan kualiti bagi
mendapatkan maklumbalas berkenaan kualiti program pengajian. Instrumen ini telah diedarkan
kepada para pelajar semester akhir pada minggu ke 16 di KPM Seri Iskandar.

2.0 OBJEKTIF KAJIAN

Objektif kajian adalah untuk:

1) mendapatkan maklum balas pelajar dari semester akhir mengenai program Diploma in Marketing
di KPM Seri Iskandar

2) membuat penambahbaikan berterusan dalam mempertingkatkan kualiti program pengajian ini di
KPM Seri Iskandar.

3.0 METODOLOGI

Kajian ini dijalankan secara atas talian dengan menggunakan platform Google Form. Analisa dibuat
dengan menggunakan Ms Excel. Kajian ini tertumpu hanya kepada pelajar semester akhir pengajian
Diploma in Marketing bagi sesi 1/2021. Dengan menggunakan skala dari 1 hingga 4, di mana skala 4
adalah "Sangat Setuju" dan skala 1 adalah "Sangat Tidak Setuju", pelajar diminta untuk menyatakan
sejauh mana mereka setuju atau tidak setuju dengan pernyataan yang diberikan. Instrumen ini
merangkumi 7 bahagian seperti berikut:

Rajah 1 menunjukkan bilangan responden mengikut jantina. 70.59% responden adalah
perempuan. Manakala selebihnya (29.41%) adalah lelaki. Jumlah keseluruhan responden adalah
seramai 51 orang. Ini menunjukkan bahawa kesemua pelajar semester akhir Diploma in Marketing
ini telah menjawab soal selidik ini. Kesemua responden ini merupakan pelajar Diploma in Marketing
ambilan sesi Mei 2019.

Jadual 2 menunjukkan purata keseluruhan bagi penilaian terhadap program ini ialah sebanyak 3.60.
Ini menunjukkan bahawa kebanyakan responden ini bersetuju dengan pernyataan berkaitan program
akademik ini. Berdasarkan kepada Rajah 2, ia menunjukkan bahawa item No.8 mempunyai purata nilai
yang lebih tinggi berbanding item lain iaitu sebanyak 3.78. Ini menunjukkan bahawa kebanyakan
pelajar bersetuju bahawa program ini menggalakkan kerjsama dan kerja berpasukan. Ia di ikuti dengan
item no.10 dimana kebanyakan pelajar bersetuju bahawa program ini mencabar intelektual dan
memberangsangkan. Manakala, item no. 2 dan 6 mempunyai purata paling rendah dalam penilaian ini
di mana masing-masing mendapat nilai purata sebanyak 3.45. Purata ini menyatakan bahawa
kebanyakan pelajar bersetuju bahawa terdapat komunikasi yang baik antara jabatan akademik dan
pelajar mengenai keperluan, kebimbangan dan cadangan pelajar. Mereka juga bersetuju bahawa
Kursus / mata pelajaran kokurikulum wajib adalah sesuai bagi program ini.

Jadual 3 menunjukkan bahawa purata keseluruhan bagi penilaian terhadap pembangunan kemahiran ialah
3.75. Ini menunjukkan bahawa kebanyakan responden bersetuju dengan pernyataan yang dinyatakan di
bahagian ini. Berdasarkan kepada Rajah 3 ini, ia menunujukkan item no.13 menunjukkan purata paling
tinggi iaitu sebanyak 3.82. kebanyakan responden bersetuju bahawa program ini telah membentuk
kemahiran interpersonal mereka. Manakala item no.17 adalah purata paling rendah di mana responden
bersetuju bahawa program ini juga telah membentuk kemahiran numerical yang berkaitan dengan
kehidupan seharian.

Jadual 4 telah menunjukkan bahawa purata keseluruhan bagi bahagian ini ialah 3.60. Ini menunjukkan
bahawa kebanyakan responden hampir sangat bersetuju dengan penyataan yang dinyatakan ini.
Berdasarakan kepada Rajah 4, ia telah menunjukkan bahawa purata tertinggi penilaian terhadap tenaga
pengajar ialah pada item no. 29 (3.73). Ini menunjukkan bahawa kebanyakan responden menilai bahawa
mereka setuju bahawa tugasan penilaian yang disediakan oleh pensyarah adalah sangat mencabar .
Walaubagaimanapun, purata terendah yang dinilai oleh responden adalah pada item no. 24 (3.43) dimana
kebanyakan responden bersetuju bahawa pensyarah telah menunjukkan inovatif dan kreativiti dalam
pengajaran. Item ini boleh dibuat penambahbaikan di masa akan datang.

Jadual 5 menunjukkan bahawa purata keseluruhan bagi bahagian ini ialah sebanyak 3.44. Berdasarkan
kepada Rajah 5, item no. 32 dan 33 masing-masing memperolehi purata sebanyak 3.59. Ini merupakan
purata paling tinggi di bahagian ini. Kebanyakan pelajar hampir amat bersetuju bahawa soalan tugasan
yang diberi membantu mereka untuk mencipta idea baharu dan berkreativiti. Selain itu, mereka juga hampir
amat bersetuju dengan pernyataan bahawa maklumbalas berkaitan penilaian yang diberikan pensyarah
juga banyak membantu. Namun begitu, item no,31 perlu di tambahbaik memandangkan ia adalah item
yang paling rendah puratanya dimana kebanyakan responden bersetuju bahawa tempoh masa sesuatu
penilaian adalah mencukupi.

Jadual 5 menunjukkan bahawa purata keseluruhan ialah 3.73. Ini menunjukkan bahawa kebanyakan
reponden hampir amat bersetuju dengan pernyataan yang di nyatakan. Rajah 6 menunjukkan bahawa item
no, 36 adalah purata yang paling tinggi. Manakala item no. 42 adalah purata paling rendah. Kebanyakan
pelajar hampir amat bersetuju bahawa program ini membantu mereka mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan
tentang pemasaran dan memahami konsep dan teori berkaitan pemasaran. Item yang mendapat purata
paling rendah perlu di lihat semula dan penambahbaikan boleh dilakukan.

Berdasarkan jadual 6, berikut adalah rumusan pandangan pelajar tentang program Diploma in Marketing:

1. Program ini mempunyai pensyarah yang baik dan berpengalaman terutama dalam bidang Pemasaran
2. Pensyarah amat bermotivasi tinggi dalam memberikan ilmu pengetahuan kepada pelajar
3. Terjalin hubungan baik antara pelajar dan pensyarah.
4. Program ini dapat meningkatkan kemahiran pelajar seperti kerja berpasukan, pemikiran kreatif,

keusahawanan, interpersonal, kepimpinan dan lain-lain.
5. Program ini meningkatkan pengetahuan pelajar tentang ilmu pemasaran, pengurusan, perakaunan,

ekonomi dan Undang-undang.
6. Program ini memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar tentang pengurusan event seperti E-Fest yang dapat

membina keyakinan diri pelajar.

Since we are doing odl at the moment because of the pandemic, students should be given

all staying at home, does not mean that we only have study matters to take care of. Other
10 than that, I would want to suggest that the MPP or any related club to make a programme
11 that taking care of students' mental health. They can do weekly meet up to discuss
problems that students faced and else.
The advent of new technologies has given rise to methods of teaching that require special
training. As evidence accumulates about promising ways of engaging students actively,
identifying difficulties they are having in learning the material and adjusting teaching
methods accordingly, the current gaps in the preparation most graduate students receive
become more and more of a handicap.
Please alert of anything about the surrounding issue such as the covid-19 issue, please
inform the student earlier if they can go back or cannot go back because many student
stay outside of Perak which will cost their parents budget on their way to pickup their
children. Tell it early so that the parents will not panic and will have time to fetch their
children. Sorry if my words is quite rude.
More program or activity of digital marketing that student can explore more about social
media marketing
Please make sure to discuss first among all lecturer for all subject regarding the deadline
and period of time for student to complete their assignment so that it does not clashed.
We were always given unrealistic deadlines & we occasionally need to submit at least 3 to
4 assignments per week especially around weeks 10-14. As a final year student, i was on

the verge of having a breakdown due to my overburdened schedule. Please provide all my
junior some gap between the deadline. Sincerely, their senior. Tq.
12 Make learning sessions more powerful, not boring especially. Added with entertainment &
also break gaps to boost back the energy, since odl has been very hard to all, especially to
them who never experienced college life at all. Above all, lecturers should be more
concerned towards students' background problems and understand them better. Also
regarding the due dates, tests & exercises. Somehow it's so so packed and students at
home are hoping to be understood a little more because other responsibilities arise too,
which cannot be avoided. Parents need our help too. Kpmsi for the better, hopefully

25 I honestly think that our college, KPMSI, needs to use only one platform for us to study
along Online Distance Learning (ODL) period. I personally like Google Classroom and
Google Meet as it doesn’t consume data as much as Microsoft Teams. I think by using only
one platform, it will help students to keep on track with their/our assignments and tasks.
Other than that, it is crucial to learn English since our school days, but I found out that
many of them have not yet excel in English language, and because of that, they are having
a hard time doing their assignments and even trying to do presentations in English , thus,
they will just copy everything on the internet. To prevent this from happen, I believe KPMSI
can help some of the students who are still struggling to communicate in English.

on 1 place so tht people can watch to catch up back the learning

Merujuk kepada Jadual 7 di atas, berikut adalah rumusan cadangan pelajar untuk meningkatkan kualiti
pengajian di Kolej Profesional MARA Seri Iskandar:

1. Aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan perniagaan dan pemasaran perlu diperbanyakan agar pelajar lebih

memahami kursus yang mereka pelajari itu.

2. Pensyarah dicadangkan untuk menyediakan e-Book atau e-Modul kepada pelajar.

3. Pensyarah dicadangkan untuk menyediakan rakaman pengajaran dan meletakan ia di dalam satu

platform agar pelajar dapat ulangkaji pelajaran semula.

4. Pensyarah perlu memaklumkan rujukan buku yang digunapakai untuk sesuatu kursus itu agar pelajar

mempunyai rujukan untuk belajar.

5. Perbanyakkan nota dan artikel untuk diberikan kepada pelajar agar pelajar lebih memahami sesuatu

topik di dalam sesuatu kursus itu.

6. Pensyarah perlu release assignment mengikut tempoh masa yang dirancang agar tiada pertindihan

tarikh penghantaran tugasan dengan kursus lain. Ini akan membebankan tugas pelajar.

7. KPMSI perlu gunakan hanya satu platform yang sesuai dan memudahkan untuk sesi pembelajaran

online ini kepada pelajar. Contohnya penggunaan Google Meet.

8. Pihak kolej perlu bantu para pelajar untuk memperbaiki kemahiran komunikasi di dalam Bahasa

Inggeris agar pelajar dapat meningkatkan kemahiran berkomunikasi dan dapat memahami sesuatu

topik itu dengan baik.

9. Perbanyakkan aktiviti presentation dan kuiz seperti Kahoot sewaktu kelas ODL berlangsung.

10. Pihak kolej perlu mengkaji semula tempoh sesuatu tugasan bagi semua kursus . Perlu pastikan tiada

pertindihan tarikh penghantaran pada sesuatu kursus.Perlu ada jarak penghantaran tugasan antara

setiap kursus.

11. Wujudkan kerjasama dengan Alumni Kolej untuk rancang sesuatu aktiviti kepada pelajar.

12. Wujudkan bahasa perantaraan yang lain selain daripada Mandarin sebagai salah satu kelebihan pada

program ini.

13. MPP dan pihak kolej perlu sediakan satu program pengurusan kesihatan mental dikalangan para

pelajar bagi mengurangkan stress di kalangan pelajar sewaktu pembelajaran online di adakan.

5.0 KESIMPULAN

Kesimpulan daripada analisa ini didapati bahawa kebanyakan pelajar Diploma in Marketing ini adalah
bersetuju dengan segala pernyataan yang dinyatakan di dalam kajian ini. Walaubagaimanapun,
beberapa langkah dan tindakan wajar harus diambil bagi proses penambahbaikan bagi program ini.
Hasil daripada kajian ini, beberapa cadangan penambahbaikan harus dilakukan oleh semua pihak :

12 Pihak ICT Kolej boleh mengambil inisiatif lain agar fungsi rakaman di dalam Google ICT Kolej
Meet dapat digunakan secara meluas sewaktu kelas pdpr dilaksanakan. Fungsi rakaman
ini amat oenting agar pelajar dapat mengulangkaji semula topik yang dipelajari di
dalam kelas. Ini adalah salah satu alternatif kepada pelajar kerana penggunaan Google
Meet adalah lebih stabil capaian internetnya kepada pelajar termasuk pelajar yang
tinggal di kawasan luar bandar dan penggunaan datanya lebih menjimatkan berbanding
Microsoft Team.

13 Pihak ICT Kolej perlu meningkatkan kualiti perkhidmatan Internet di Kolej agar sesi ICT Kolej
pembelajaran dapat dijalankan dengan baik di masa akan datang. Ini kerana, pandemic
Covid 19 ni menyebabkan kelas tidak boleh dilakukan secara bersemuka.
Penambahbaikan pada prasarana Kolej juga amatlah penting agar proses Pdpr berjalan
dengan baik.

6.0 PENUTUP

Secara keseluruhan, program Diploma in Marketing di Kolej Profesional MARA Seri Iskandar ini telah
mendapat maklumbalas yang baik daripada pelajar semester akhir ini dengan purata keseluruhan bagi
penilaian terhadap 5 aspek penting itu ialah 3.62. Segala pandangan dan cadangan pelajar terhadap
program ini perlu diteliti oleh pihak jabatan akademik agar proses penambahbaikan berterusan boleh
dilakukan dari masa ke masa Walaubagaimanapun, fokus lebih perlu dilihat semula pada aspek
penilaian yang mempunyai purata paling rendah berbanding aspek lain agar penambahbaikan boleh
dilakukan dengan segera bagi mencapai jaminan kualiti sesuatu program. Bagi menjamin kualiti
pengajian program ini, adalah diharapkan agar langkah dan tindakan bersama dari semua peringkat
jabatan amatlah diharapkan. Berikut adalah rumusan purata keseluruhan bagi setiap aspek yang dinilai:
