ABOUT US

The Zhauns group which was incorporated in 1970, a BEE company,
are Zhaun S. Amid-Ahmed (Chief Executive Officer), Ashraf Ahmed
(Chief Operating Officer) and Riad Ahmed (Marketing Manager).

The company employs a staff compliment of approximately 300, who
bring an innovative dynamism that encourages continuous
rethinking of how best to improve products and services to maintain an
edge.

The emphasis on performance and customer satisfaction lies behind the
success of Zhauns, which conducts business both locally and
internationally.

MEMBERS OF

The Group is an active member of the Cape Town Regional Chamber of
Commerce and Industry and has been awarded an Impumelelo South
Africa Top 300 Companies Certificate.

The Group and it's Executive Management Team are affiliated variously to:-
Cape Town Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Young Presidents
Organisation (YPO); Institute of Directors (IOD); Chief Executive
Organisation (CEO); Justice of the Peace Organisation (JP); The Western
Cape Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (WESGRO); Government
Appointed Liquidators, Trustees and Valuations; The Western Cape
Business Opportunities Forum (WECBOF); The National African Federated
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NAFCOC).

The Zhauns Property Group is involved in property investment, development
and project management. The group has a property portfolio with over 600
tenants in the residential, retails, commercial & light industrial sectors.

The Property Group has also developed a good team of architects,
engineers and consultants with practical building experience.

MACHINERY DIVISION

Zhauns Business Opportunity Machines is the market leader and largest
single source supplier of a range of diversified SMME manufacturing
machinery on the African continent.

It's primary objective is to assist in creating sustainable business enterprises
that achieve growth, create jobs and stimulate the African economy.

The range of machinery centres around the FMCG manufacturing-processing
sectors (fast moving consumer goods manufactured at low cost) and is
designed to support the establishment of innovative and profitable new
businesses as well as the expansion of existing SMME's within the sector
previously dominated by large scale corporate entities.

TEXTILE DIVISION

The textile division was established in 1970 and is a South African household
name within the textile and related business.
