Let’s look at method
two for making the HTML5
flip book version of an
e-book using anyflip.
For this, we’ll use a
word processor — most
likely ms word.
most word
processors now have a
setting that allows
them to act like primitive
desktop publishing
software. We’ll take
advantage of this
capacity.
You will need to change the
dimensions of your document
in the word processor.
Create a 7” x 7” document.
Set the view in the word processor to the
publishing layout view.
There are many
different versions
and thus
configurations of
Word.
Find page setup.
You are wanting to
change the page size.
Reset your page size to 7 in x 7 in. This
square page will look nice and it will
fit into the anyflip builder template
without distortion. That’s what you
want.
As
you can
see, you don’t
have to be a
power user to
make this
work.

having done
some desktop
publishing, you
already know
that.
myself, I like to write
in the regular word
processor. Then I copy
and paste into the
desktop publishing
version of a word
document.
That separates the job
of writing and the job
of doing the layout.
Less strain on my brain!
Better results for me.
You should do what works best
for you. Being flexible and
choosing the best path for
yourself is part of achieving
success in these ventures.
I should add, making
your book easy to read
is important. So write
in large font sizes. I
prefer 24 pt. Sort of
the John Hancock
approach, large enough
to be see without eye
glasses.
For cartoon pages such
as this, you can use a
screwy font. It’s
culturally expected.
For regular text on the you want your
page, choose a crisp, readers
clear font. I like
Verdana or Calibra. reading not
squinting!
and remember, go with
a large size font of 18
to 30 pt in size.
These
graphic passage
pages were made in
the fairly cheap
comic life
software
It runs
about $30.00
for either the PC
running windows
or for the Mac.
I save the individual pages of the
graphic passage as .jpg files. I
then put these graphic files into
the word document, one per 7” x
7” page.
All the rest is created within
the publish layout view of the
word processor.
For you, however, it’s
more likely:
1. Pouring text and
images into the
publishing Layout View,
2. Saving the word file
to your hard drive and/or
cloud drive,
3. Converting the word
document to a PDF file,
and 4. uploading that pdf
file into your anyflip
account.

PDF file and into
the flip book.
Your anyflip HTML5 version of the flip book is the
perfect all around version of an e-book. html5
runs on any device with a appropriate (modern)
browser: Windows pc, mac, linux, chromebook,
android device, iOS device, or windows phone

will run on the all!

solution!
