terhadap virus, spyware, dan sebagainya.

• Sistem operasi ini mudah digunakan dan mudah dipelajari.
Sumber nya mudah didapati dan terdapat training-centre
untuk memberi latihan kepada penggunanya.

DESKTOP ENVIROMENT

COMPUTER INFORMATION

SAFARI

• Apple Safari is Apple's web browser
that comes bundled with the most
recent macOS. Put it all together,
and no other browser offers such a
rich web experience. Safari for Mac
has a condensed (ringkas) and
minimalistic interface that offers
mac users faster, private browsing
with fewer interruptions and
extended battery life.

Preferences, then click Sign In. Click Create Apple ID,
then follow the onscreen instructions. Note: In several
countries and regions, you can use a phone number
instead of an email address as your Apple ID.

Satu ID untuk pengguna Apple
yang membolehkan mereka
melakukan apa sahaja di Apple
Store, iTunes Store,mengaktifkan
aplikasi iCloud dan sebagainya

SYSTEM PREFERENCES

System Preferences is the place where you
personalize your MacBook Air settings. For
example, use Battery preferences to change
sleep settings. Or use Desktop & Screen Saver
preferences to add a desktop picture or choose
a screen saver.

Customize your MacBook Air. Click the System
Preferences icon in the Dock, or choose Apple
menu > System Preferences. Then click the
type of preference you want to set. To learn
more, see Customize your Mac with System
Preferences in the macOS User Guide.

ACTIVITY MONITOR

It’s easy to keep an eye on
your system status without
even looking at the Activity
Monitor window—you can
monitor your CPU, network, or
disk usage as a live graph right
in the Dock.

DOCK

The Dock on the Mac desktop is a convenient place to access
apps and features that you’re likely to use every day—for
example, Launchpad and the Trash.

FINDER

It includes the Finder menu bar at the top of the screen and the desktop
below that. ... It uses windows and icons to show you the contents of your
Mac, iCloud Drive, and other storage devices. It's called the Finder
because it helps you to find and organize your files.

GRAB

Grab was a utility program in macOS for taking
screenshots. It supports capturing a marquee
selection, a whole window, and the whole
screen, as well as timed screenshots.

BOOT CAMP ASSISTANCE

Boot Camp is a utility that
comes with your Mac and lets
you switch between macOS
and Windows. Download your
copy of Windows 10, then let
Boot Camp Assistant walk you
through the installation steps
for Intel-based Macs.

TERMINAL

Terminal (Terminal.app) is the terminal
emulator included in the macOS operating
system by Apple. Terminal originated in
NeXTSTEP and OPENSTEP, the predecessor
operating systems of macOS. As a terminal
emulator, the application provides text-based
access to the operating system, in contrast to
the mostly graphical nature of the user
experience of macOS, by providing a command-
line interface to the operating system when used
in conjunction with a Unix shell, such as zsh (the
default shell in macOS Catalina). The user can
choose other shells available with macOS, such
as the KornShell, tcsh, and bash.[

COLOR SYNC UTILITY

Maintaining color consistency
between applications and devices
and when printing can be a
challenge. If you're unfamiliar with
color matching in macOS, learn how
to use the ColorSync Utility.

The ColorSync Utility Calculator helps identify specific pixel
colors.

DISK UTILITY

Disk Utility shows internal
drives and connected
external drives (like USB
drives), as well as special
image files (DMG files) that
you can mount and access
as drives.

AIRPORT UTILITY

AirPort Utility is a built-in Mac app that is
used to configure and control Wi-Fi
networks using Apple's AirPort Extreme,
AirPort Express, and Time Capsule. The
AirPort Extreme is a base station router
like you would use when setting up your
Wi-Fi network. It automatically backs up
all Macs on your network.
