but with a twist. The TTSPCA
Tobago Animal Shelter joined
forces with Roger Marshall and the
Animals 360 Foundation team. Animals 360
Foundation is a non-profit NGO registered in Trinidad and
Tobago that is committed to the humane treatment of
animals and has hosted a program similar to SPOTT called
Animal Pride. This weekend, working with a dynamic team
of doctors and volunteers, we spayed approximately one
hundred (100) dogs and cats, thus potentially preventing
over four (4) million unwanted births six years down the line.
We could not have done this program without the
veterinarians, technicians and volunteers working together.
The team consisted of thirty (30) persons coming from
Trinidad and places as far as Oregon and Florida in the USA
and, of course some persons from Tobago. The Animals 360
team of technicians prepped the animals and assisted in
surgery. This team included registered technician Sandra
Pompey from Florida and Noelyn Semper, Jadgesh
Bhaggan, Shivam Singh and Suruj Sookhai of Trinidad.
