LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

On a late night of the week, it was time for my kids to get ready for bed but they
wasted time by continuing to play. The various persuasions that my husband and I
gave to our twins so that they could go to sleep but they tried to avoid falling asleep
by asking us to tell them something different from before, my husband got the idea
and told them to get ready for bed first and wait in bed. I felt weird with the expression
on his face that was smiling at me. My husband instructed me to tell the kids about
something while smiling and I understood. My twins brushed their teeth and were
ready to hear their father’s mysterious story.

On the last day of the big exam for all form five students in Malaysia, I was able
to play my phone all day, no distractions to play phone because during exams my
mom limited phone use because she said she just wanted me to be more focused. So,
after finishing my big exam, I went home and started browsing my social media on
Instagram, Twitter, and tik tok. After playing for a long time and none of it caught my
attention suddenly there was a video wherein the video there was a group of male
university students, one of them had the most beautiful smile for me and for the first
time I fell in love just with that sweet smile. After being attracted to that sweet smiling
man, I tried to find out more about him through that social media account. but I only
found his video only on his friend’s social media but one thing I know is his study place.

After a month passed, I still see and watch all the videos about the guy but only
through his friends, I wanted to know his name but failed. At the same time, I had just

got my exam results and it was satisfying to enter the university, I got an offer to enter
a university in Kelantan and it was fun to move to a new state. After getting the offer,
I noticed something about the name of the university but I just thought "it won't be the
same as him" because at that time I only knew the acronym of the university name, I
don't want to hope the same with him but at the same time I want that to happen. So,
after throwing away that thought, I completed all the registration forms requested by
the university, taking a month to complete them. After submitting the form and within
three weeks the university announces that all students are required to stay in the
dormitory so, I pack all the necessities to take to the university.

On the way to university, I saw the latest post by those sweet smiling male friends,
through the video they were like running a program, so I thought "oh they're seniors
for sure for their juniors in university". I was still fine, when I arrived at the university I
went to the registration counter to arrange what was due and when filling out the form
given I saw someone was chatting with friends. When he turned his body to face me,
I was just stunned, it was him. Only god knows how my heartfelt at that time. I was just
silent but happy.

After knowing we were the same university, in my mind at the time "is this our
mate?". I got the same field as him, so I followed all the clubs he entered. I tried
everything to be able to see him more closely. When there is an activity organized by
my club or senior, I will be an active person just for him to notice me. After a few
months of staying at the university, I found out from my friends that the man has many
fans both among juniors and seniors because of his personality that can attract all the

hearts of women. After I found out about that, I felt it was great competition as long as
I studied at university. Then, I tried to do everything to win his heart. I remember, every
year on Sports Day, when he is done with his activities, I always give him water but he
prefers to take it then other women.

After four years of studying there, during that time he still stole my heart. We used
to chat but only as juniors and seniors. Nevermore, I knew he knew I had a heart for
him but he tried to avoid it. I can't hide it anymore because I think this is the right time.
So, after class I texted him to meet. After waiting for his arrival, he arrived in a state of
breathlessness, perhaps he was running. Without wasting time, I expressed the
feelings that have been dormant for these five years. I was ready to be rejected
because he just kept quiet and stared. Suddenly, he equals our height and he smiles
as he says “I feel the same”. Who says love, at first sight, will not be together. That's
how I met your father.
