INDONESIA TRAVEL REGULATIONS Please keep the following requirements in mind when traveling to Indonesia. You should carry a valid passport with you at all times, as officials at hotels and tourist destinations may ask you to produce documentation. In addition to your official passport, it’s also a good practice to carry a photocopy with you in the event your documents are lost or stolen. Visa On Arrival VoA application is submitted by the Foreign Nationals at certain Immigration Checkpoint with the following requirements. 1. A legal and valid passport for at least six months 2. A return ticket or onward ticket to continue the trip to another country, except for the crew of means of transport who will stop over to join the ship and continue the journey to another country 3. A hotel stay confirmation letter VOA is charged 500,000 IDR which you can buy at the Immigration Checkpoint at Ngurah Rai Bali International Airport cardless or by transfer payment method. The period of stay in Indonesia is granted for 30 days. A stay permit derived from this visa is extendable. You don't need to buy VoA in these conditions : 1. Come from Brunei, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam. 2. Visit purposes : a. Tourism visits b. Government officials' visits c. Business talks and meetings visits d. Purchasing goods visits e. Transit Other than those countries and visit purposes mentioned before, you have to buy VoA (or prepare your legal visa in your country*). You can also make an early preparation by submitting Electronic Visa on Arrival (EVoA) before your trip through the website http://www.molina.imigrasi.go.id/


SECURITY GUIDE Indonesia has strict regulations for passengers carrying prohibited items on flights. You are strongly advised to ask airline staff before check-in if unsure of what is in your hand luggage, to prevent unnecessary delays. LAGS must be in containers with a maximum capacity not more than 100ML each. LAGS in containers larger than 100ML will not be accepted, even if the containers are partially-filled. GUIDELINES ON LAGS (Liquid, Aerosols & Gels) Place the containers (not exceeding 1-litre in total) in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag which must be completely closed. Only one transparent re-sealable plastic per passenger is allowed. The bag must be presented separately for examination at the security screening point. Exceptions can be made for baby food provided hat an infant is traveling with you. Exemptions can also be made for special dietary items and medications accompanied by an original letter from certified d medical practitioners. These items may be subjected to additional checks at the security screening point. All LAGS that do not meeting the above requirements must be disposed of before the security screening point.


HEALTH REGULATIONS Due to the covid-19 issue, Indonesia applies the following health protocols since 1st September 2022. 1. PCR test is no longer required to enter Indonesia if traveler fully vaccinated. Note: Airlines / carriers may have different requirement to board their transport vehicle regarding PCR test. 2. Showing insurance coverage statement for Covid-19 treatment in Indonesia is no longer required. 3. Download an Indonesian mobile application SATUSEHAT (available on Google Play; App Store, App Gallery). 4. Register your Covid-19 vaccine certificate at SATUSEHAT app for your access to indoor public places in Indonesia. All international travelers are required to have a complete e-HAC to travel domestically within Indonesia. Please download SATUSEHAT app in your Apple Store or Android Play to complete the e-HAC click here How-To-Guide to get the details step. You will get a unique barcode at the end of the process and will have to show it upon check-in and arrival. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A MASK ON YOUR ARRIVAL


CUSTOM GUIDE Every passenger of any means of transport arriving from abroad is required to fill out a Customs Declaration (CD), which currently can be filled out in a paperless manner, namely the Electronic Customs Declaration (ECD) via the link ecd.beacukai.go.id. You can fill in the Electronic Customs Declaration (ECD) 2 days before your arrival date in Indonesia and it is known that the ECD is now connected to the IMEI Registration service. Fill in correctly and according to the steps provided until you get a QR Code. The QR code from the filling results will appear in your email or can be downloaded directly to be shown to Customs and Excise officers in the Customs Area. The following are the requirements for completing the Electronic Customs Declaration (ECD): 1. Passport. 2. Email address. 3. Ticket or boarding pass. 4. Supporting documents related to your luggage in accordance with applicable regulations such as invoices, packing lists, doctor's certificates and others. SPECIAL SITUATIONS If you need to carry a certain medicine, you are required to bring an official printed letter that is clear and signed by your doctor containing identifying information from your doctor and the patient concerned as well as information about the drugs as detailed as possible and the purpose of use and the duration according to the amount of medicine you are taking.


BALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Bali international airport named I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali International Airport which has three letter code flight is DPS. For international terminal is located in level 2 of the airport. In that area you could enjoy the restaurant or souvenirs shop 24 hours. MONEY CHANGER We strongly suggest you to bring an amount of cash on your arrival. As Indonesia is currently using IDR, you might be needed to go to the money changer at the airport. It is located near the exit gate (Wahana Money Changer, Bank BNI, Bank Mandiri). The maximum amount of cash you can bring is USD 10,000 or report to the immigration officer for more amount.

BEING PREPARED NO PLASTIC For information, since 2018 Bali has campaigned to be an island without plastic. The regulation was officially instated - dreaded styrofoam, plastic bags, and plastic straws are prohibited island-wide. If you want to shop and make purchases, it would be good to bring your own bag. ELECTRIC PLUGS Most power plugs and sockets in Indonesia are type C and F. This plug is the 2 pin socket and plug design which is the standard European plug. If you're coming from a country that does not use this type of sockets, you better buy an adapter. SIM CARDS AND INTERNET Make sure you have international data package for your phone number. If not, you can buy local sim-card to use a local provider. There are many counters you can access in Bali.
