Cafe received a warmth visit from USM denizens.
This event was held twice a month with a
collaboration between Dewan Budaya USM and
MPD TEKUN. Different theme was set on
different week to make this event merrier. This
event was a fresh idea from Ms Andy, one of the
Dewan Budaya members. This event aimed to
bring out the talents among USM students who
were staying in the university through out the
pandemic.
Desasiswa Tekun was made as ‘green bubble’
where all students were placed in it during the
pandemic Covid19. Lots of events ran by MPDT to
make sure students were having fun and one of it
was the Beat and Bites. SOP were strictly
enforced while the events were on going. No
covid cases was detected throughout the month
of organising this event.
Lots of participation from students and the
talents range from singing to monologues, but
singing was the main talent that was being
performed. The Beats and Bites ensures a better
stress-free event for students who were
stranded in the university during the pandemic
season. As students were not allowed to go out
from the university, the management took an
initiative to help the students to enjoy their time
in university by providing this kind of event
following a strict SOP given by the government.
