Forged
Elegance

Developed to meet the highest standards of
performance and aesthetics, Callaway’s new Epic
Forged irons feature an elegant platinum chrome
finish on a forged 1025 carbon steel body.

This is the first time that Callaway has
engineered its dynamic Suspended Tungsten Core
into a forged iron, which precisely positions the CG
for controlled launch. Factor in Callaway’s urethane
microspheres which absorb unwanted vibration and
the thin and fast 360 Face Cup, and the result is a
sublimely satisfying feel at impact with immense
distance.

The clubhead is crafted for exceptional turf
interaction and sound at impact, thus helping golfers
score with more precise shots from all lies.

Ultra-Premium Forged Design
The new Epic Forged has a stunningly beautiful
design, from the platinum chrome finish to the
precise shaping. Every surface and detail was
carefully considered and developed through
precision engineering and meticulous craftsmanship.

The forged 1025 carbon steel body creates an
incredibly pure feel at impact, with exceptional
sound and turf interaction. Callaway’s patented
urethane microspheres comprehensively absorb
unwanted vibration without slowing the face.

Suspended Tungsten Core
For the first time ever in a forged iron, Callaway has
incorporated its innovative Suspended Tungsten
Core. The core suspends the custom tungsten weight
using Urethane Microspheres, allowing Callaway’s
engineers to precisely position the centre of gravity.
This revolutionary design promotes controlled
launch and long, consistent distance.

360 Face Cup
Callaway’s renowned 360 Face Cup employs a
shallow, flexible rim around the perimeter of the
face that flexes and releases at impact to promote
fast ball speed for long, consistent distance on
centre hits and off-centre hits.

Spin Control VFT
To provide spin and control in the mid and long
irons, Callaway has applied a new Variable Face
Technology (VFT) pattern which promotes consistent
ball speed and spin rates.

Spectacular Sakura Season
Comes To Town

Rounds of golf at KPGCC’s award-winning course are always a
fantastic experience as golfers get together with their mates and
enjoy the sport they love so dearly. Not only is it an opportunity
to better your skills, but it’s also a great way to soak in the
serenity of the surrounding nature, and the beautifully-

members, experience nothing but the best each time you tee off.

And it all gets even prettier this time of year as the ‘Sakura

(Tabebuia Pentaphylla), locally known as ‘pokok kertas tisu’
(tissue paper tree) is a visual marvel indeed with the
flowers – in colours of white, pink or lavender –
bursting from the branches of the large tree.

junior splash swim / junior swimming circuit challenge

Junior Splash

The first leg of the ASUM/NSC/MILO Junior Splash Swim 2019 brought
together some of the most gifted young swimmers in the state,
including 21 swimmers from KPGCC’s Bronze, Silver and Gold squad.

The three-day event, held at the National Aquatic Centre in Bukit
Jalil from July 19 to 21, presented the competitors with quite the
challenge, which also served as a great platform to test their own
mettle against their equally determined peers.

It was encouraging to witness our swimmers having a whale of a
time while breaking their personal best times.

Hard Work Pays Off

KPGCC swimmers Chin Yu Yang,
Rainne Foo Jie Xin and Amelia Lok
Su Hui were absolute stars at the
SportExcel/Milo/NSC/ASUM Junior
Swimming Circuit challenge,
making it to the Grand Finals held
on August 3 and 4.

Hard work sure pays off, and
these young talents would
categorically concur having
practiced their way to being
amongst the country’s top 24
swimmers in their respective age
groups.

“I’m happy to see them in the
grand finals as this is their first
time qualifying for the meet,”
expressed Coach Zalah. “I hope
that next year we will have more
swimmers qualifying.”
