Important Moments in
My Life

Making my first Friend

The story of making my takes me back to when I started
Tee-Ball. This kid named Dylan was on the same team as
me. We were called the Cubs and Dylan’s dad was the head
coach and when I didn’t know what to do i would just ask
him to help me. Then me and him talked to each other and
became good friends . Too this day I still stay in contact
with him. As he got older we were stuck on the same
baseball team and always warmed with each other and have
been hanging out with each other. So dylan was my first
friend because that’s the first person that I ever called a
friend.

When I Graduated Fifth Grade

An important event that shaped me was when I was in
5th grade and we were graduating. Our class got ready to
leave to the ceremony and I thought that I did great this
year. Time flew by and people were getting their awards
then our class was called. The first three kids were called
up and I got called up and was handed the presidential
award and Principal's honor roll.I was so excited that I got
this award because that meant that I got good grades and
that I made my parents proud. When we walked outside to
go to our parents, they congratulated me with necklaces
made with money and all these cool gifts. It was one of the
important days in my life.

Championship Game

When I was playing baseball for the park my
team went undefeated the whole season and beating
everyone by 7 or 10. We have been grinding the
whole season to go to the championship game. We
made it to the playoffs and unfortunately i wasn’t able
to the game because i went on vacation to Cabo. so
my mom facetimed this girl that was at the game and
I was able to watch the game from there. My team
ended up winning and I was able to play the
championship game. At the game I was nervous that
we will lose, but when the game started we started off
strong by scoring five runs in the first inning and we
ended up winning 5-9 and we got the first place
medals and a congratulatory ceremony at City Hall. it
was a fun season and it was cool that we went
undefeated all season.

Best day with my Grandpa

When I was little I went fishing with my grandpa
at Kernville. When we got there my grandpa was so
happy that we were there to stay there for the
weekend.We got settled in and my grandpa asked
me if I wanted to go fishing and I said yes. He said
that we are going fishing at 6:00 AM and that it’s
good to go fishing in the morning because all the
fish are hungry. When we got up to go fishing I was
so excited that we were going to spend time with
my grandpa, because I don’t see him a lot. When we
got to the fishing spot I caught a fish in thirty
minutes and they kept coming. I ended up catching
eight fish and my grandpa was so happy for me. Me
and him hads a great time together and I hope that
we can go fishing again.

My name is Michael Barber. I was born at
Torrance Memorial Hospital on March 29, 2004.
I like to play baseball all the time. I am a student
athlete and I want to play in the major league
baseball. My favorite baseball team is the
dodgers. My favorite football team is the
Chicago Bears and I enjoy watching football. I
like to go to amusement parks and going on
roller coaster. I am a fun person to hangout with
and this is what I want you to know about me.
