1.0 UCAPAN ALUAN PENGARAH PROGRAM
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah berhasrat untuk menjadikan
inovasi dan penyelidikan sebagai pemacu utama dalam
menambah baik kualiti produk inovasi pelajar yang berimpak
dan mempunyai nilai kreativiti yang tinggi. Sehubungan
dengan itu, penganjuran program “Creative Design and
Innovation Competition (CREADIC 2018)” ini diharap dapat
membangunkan pelajar yang cemerlang melakukan inovasi
baru atau penyelidikan secara berterusan.
Sejajar dengan misi dan visi kita untuk menerajui
penyelidikan TVET secara berterusan dan diikitiraf sehingga ke peringkat
antarabangsa. Pertandingan inovasi seumpama ini merupakan platform terbaik
yang disediakan untuk para pelajar dan penyelia agar dapat mewujudkan
perkongsian maklumat, kepakaran, penyelesaian masalah dan aplikasi
pembangunan produk yang mampu dikomersialkan kelak. Semoga penganjuran
CREADIC 2018 ini dapat mencetus inspirasi kepada semua pihak untuk
mengutamakan kualiti produk terutamanya dalam usaha membekalkan modal
insan berkualiti kepada politeknik.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
Alhamdulillah dengan taufik dan hidayahnya, program
“Creative Design and Innovation Competition (CREADIC
2018)” telah dapat diteruskan dan dilaksana dengan jayanya.
CREADIC 2018 ini merupakan platform perkongsian ilmu
pengetahuan melalui pembentangan bagi penjelasan produk
inovasi yang telah direka, pameran projek dan penyelesaian
masalah.
Saya yakin pertandingan inovasi antara jabatan ini mampu
memberikan cetusan idea dan kreativiti sebagai satu
momentum dan pendekatan bagi pelbagai permasalahan inovasi yang sedia ada.
Industri mengharapkan pihak kita untuk teruskan menghasilkan produk yang
mampu dipatenkan dan dikomersial pada masa akan datang. Produk sedia ada
perlu didaftarkan di MyIPO supaya semua produk inovasi kita hasilkan berdaftar
dan mendapat hakcipta.
Justeru itu, saya berharap agar CREADIC 2018 ini mampu menjadi sumber
rujukan dan panduan kepada pencipta inovasi setiap jabatan pada masa akan
datang.
Sehubungan itu, saya mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada pihak yang terlibat

5.0 PENGENALAN KEPADA PROGRAM
5.1 NAMA AKTIVITI
“Program Creative Design & Innovation Competition (CREADIC) 2018”, di
Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah, Selangor bersama projek tahun akhir pelajar terbaik
bagi setiap jabatan.
5.2 LATAR BELAKANG / RASIONAL
CREADIC 2018 adalah satu pertandingan berbentuk rekacipta kreatif, dan
berinovasi anjuran Unit Centre of Technology (COT) PSIS. Pertandingan rekacipta
ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkasakan inovasi produk supaya mempunyai nilai
komersial yang tinggi, penilaian kreativiti projek yang dihasilkan juga dinilai oleh
industri supaya hasil produk yang dihasilkan mempunyai nilai penyelidikan yang
berimpak tinggi. Usaha mempromosi dan meningkatkan taraf produk setaraf
dengan nilai global dapat memberi manfaat kepada masyarakat umum secara tidak
langsung.
Sasaran kita adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil produk inovasi politeknik yang
berkualiti tinggi melalui pendaftaran hakcipta di MyIPO dan boleh diaplikasikan.
CREADIC 2018 ini terbuka kepada semua pelajar Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah dari
semua jabatan dengan melalui proses saringan daripada semua jabatan
menghasilkan 40 projek inovasi terbaik yang dipertandingkan. Penyertaan adalah
merangkumi produk rekacipta yang kreatif dan mempunyai nilai inovasi dalam
kalangan pelajar. Pertandingan ini juga sebagai satu usaha melaksanakan
transformasi politeknik (fasa 2) di dalam objektif strategik pertamanya iaitu
melonjak politeknik sebagai institusi peneraju TVET di dalam aspek inovasi dan
pengkomersilan selain menyahut seruan kerajaan untuk melahirkan masyarakat
yang mempunyai nilai-nilai modal insan yang berinovasi dan berpendapatan tinggi
untuk menuju kearah Wawasan 2020. Penyertaan yang diterima dinilai oleh juri
penilaian yang terdiri daripada ahli akademik ataupun pengusaha industri luar.
Semua peserta menerima sijil penyertaan manakala pemenang akan menerima
wang tunai dan sijil pencapaian pada setiap jabatan. Penerima anugerah khas iaitu
pilihan industri, potensi paten dan komersil, anugerah pilihan pengarah, booth
terbaik akan menerima hadiah berupa sijil dan wang tunai.

Melaui program ini pelajar memperolehi:
a) Pembentangan secara lisan bagi penjelasan projek antara pelajar secara
individu atau berkumpulan termasuk juga laporan penulisan akhir mengikut
format standard yang mengandungi data teknikal sepanjang projek

b) Rekabentuk prototaip projek samada berbentuk produk atau perisian yang
sesuai yang lengkap dengan sistem diprogramkan. Ianya juga mestilah
mempunyai penutup yang menarik atau perisian program yang memudahkan

ABSTRAK
The environment issue which comes up from year to year and still cannot be solved is about
garbage and waste from various places dispose into rivers. Selangor Drainage and Irrigation
Department (DID) stated, they have been removed 35 tons of waste/garbage disposal from
Sungai Gombak for a year (Star Online, 14 August 2017). Similarly this wastes/garbage
disposal can caused river pollution which will affect to the aquatic human life and beauty of
river. Therefore, we produce a product that can collect the garbage/waste disposal on water
surfaces easily. Our product named as Prototype Wall-E Cleaning Boat. Based on our
product, we have three objectives that we have to meet. First, to design the Prototype Wall–
E cleaning boat for collecting waste/garbage disposal on water surfaces. Second, to produce
a prototype Wall-E cleaning boat with controlled system and the last one is to determine the
efficient of Prototype Wall-E cleaning boat which is the rate and categories of garbage/waste
disposal that can collect and the stability of Prototype Wall-E cleaning boat. Prototype Wall-E
Cleaning Boat was produced from fiberglass, pvc, stainless steel and plastic. This machine
is consists of controlled system conveyor mechanism which collect and to remove the
wastage, garbage and plastic wastes from water bodies. This product was produced over a
period of 6 months, from January 2018 to June 2018. Among the importance of our products
is to do the cleaning work quickly and more effectively than the previous method. Next, it is
to reduce the human efforts on it. This innovation Prototype Wall-E Cleaning Boat is
combination from a boat and trash trap. So, it’s become a product that can collect the
garbage/waste disposal easily and in a short time.

ABSTRAK
Designated parking lots for disabled motorist in Malaysia are still continuously being misused
by able-bodied drivers. This situation makes it very difficult for the disabled to find parking
lots. Although the disabled person are estimated to 10 percent of the 28 million Malaysian,
many facilities are provided for disabled person fail to be respected by some who are not
suffering from any disability. The first objective is to design Systematic Parking Reserved for
Disabled Person (SPRDP). The second objective is to produce Systematic Parking
Reserved for Disabled Person (SPRDP) and the last objective is to determine the usefulness
and effectiveness product based on comparison and questionnaire data between
conventional method and using Systematic Parking Reserved for Disabled Person. The
study included observation data in Sabak Bernam to identify the average use of disabled
person parking by public and persons with disabilities. Furthermore, we also use
questionnaire to prove the efficiency of the product Each data is observed three times
through conventional methods and uses Systematic Parking Reserved for Disabled Person
to get the correct average among the users. From there, we can reduce the difficulty of the
disabled person to find a car park. The study was conducted over a period of three month,
from early July to September and the data will be analyzed by the comparison between
conventional method and with Systematic Parking Reserved for Disabled Person.
Systematic Parking Reserved for Disabled Person is created using fully steel materials and
also using electrical components. Therefore, the end of this study is expected to reduce the
misused of able bodies to disable parking lots.
PROBE MACKINTOSH HYDRAULIC EXTRACTOR

ABSTRAK
Probe mackintosh is one of the site investigation activities that must be done before starting
the construction of the building. Testing was carried out continuously from ground level to
the final penetration depth. Once the soil investigation work done, it is difficult to pull out the
probe rod from the ground, due to strong soil structure grip against probe cone and prevent
the probe rod out from the ground. Thus, in this case, a tool named Probe Mackintosh
Hydraulic Extractor was created to overcome this problem. Based on our previous
statement, we came out with three objectives project. That is to design probe mackintosh
hydraulic extractor by using hydraulic system, to produce probe mackintosh hydraulic
extractor by using hydraulic system and to compare probe mackintosh hydraulic extractor
with normal probe mackintosh extractor. The materials of the probe mackintosh hydraulic
extractor are consist of a stand that is made of angle bar and long ram hydraulic jack is
made of steel with 8 ton of power. The test will be conducted in ten difference places around
Sabak Bernam. The data will be collected by making comparison between probe mackintosh
hydraulic extractor and normal hydraulic extractor. Probe Mackintosh Hydraulic Extractor is
really helpful in site investigation work.

ABSTRAK
Using Adjustable Pole Barrier to replace the Extending Barrier Cone Pole during the
implementation of the emergency work process on the road. We have identified weakness of
Extending Barrier Cone Pole. Based on the traffic control plan method there are five road
safety measured. There are traffic cone, safety zones, tapers, delineation devices and lane
width. To overcome this problem there are three objectives which is to design, to study the
effectiveness of the design and to produce the product. The first objective is to design the
appropriate product for replacing the Extending Barrier Cone Pole. The design includes the
use of materials such as extending pole barrier, bolt, nut, reflective sticker and cone. This
product has been tested with two test which is visibility test and intensity test. This test is
conducted in Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah which has road damage or road maintenance. The
study was conducted over a period of four month, from June to September and the data will
be analyzed by the test were conducted. The Adjustable Pole Barrier that produced is
suitable use at road maintenance. This product last longer than Extending Barrier Cone Pole
that usually used in maintenance work.
BAMBOO AS A COATING ON THE TIMBER DOOR

ABSTRAK
The most common problem that occurs to timber is, they often contribute to unwanted fire.
Because of that, timber is limited by various safety requirements and regulations pertaining
in constructions due to its flammability and spread of fire characteristic. Therefore, we had
carried out the research of bamboo as a fire retardant coating on timber. In this research our
size of sample is most suitable to use as an interior door which made of timber in
constructions. Based on the previous statement, there are three objectives that we can
include in our research. The first objective is to produce the bamboo layer as coated timber
door, the second objective is to determine Static Bending Test and Flammability behavior of
non-treated timber, fire painted timber and bamboo coated timber and the third objective is
to compare the strength and flammability behavior of onsite bamboo coated timber. The
research included two main test which are flammability test and static bending test. The
research includes observation and data collections. From the static bending test the modulus
of rupture (MOR) for non-treated timber is 69.77, fire coating treated timber is 58.03 and
bamboo coating timber is 78.74. The Modulus of Elasticity for non-treated timber is 10359,
fire coating treated timber is 8710.93 and the Bamboo coating timber is 10383.66. After that,
from the Flammability test the time take for the sample to burn completely for the Non-
treated timber is 30 minutes, fire coating treated timber is 37 minutes and bamboo coating
timber is 40 minutes. The findings will be presented in tables and charts to become a
pioneer in the study of large-scale. Therefore, the recommendation made at the end of this
research is expected to give safety, comfort, and helpful to buildings in constructions
especially for doors.

As the production and uses of plastic has increased over the years, a large amount of plastic
waste has accumulated in the environment especially at the landfills. From the problem
above, the idea was proposed to make a multipurpose bio-plastic that can use for various
functions. The reasons of using these organic ingredients to make a bio-plastic are simply
because there are tones of these types of waste that can be seen around PSIS’s campus.
For our project, we have decided to add in some material in a bio-plastic which are glycerin
and vinegar and study the effectiveness. It is created from organic material such as banana
peels, peanut shells and egg shells. The excessive amount of these waste without a doubt
has cause many issues because students simply threw away and mix it with other waste
making it difficult to separate the waste according to its type. Without they realize there are
actually many ways to reduce the amount of waste. The objective of this project is to
produce a bio-plastic that can act as multipurpose to the product that already exists for better
use. The experiment of the study is to focus on the production of bio-plastic using banana
peels, peanut shells and egg shells. It is important because it is proven to save the world
impact. This research and of bio-plastic will play a greater role in the production sector in the
future. The project was conducted at the Environmental Engineering Laboratory, PSIS. It do
not have to conduct this project outside because the all machines and equipment are
already exist here. From two samples that have done conducted, sample from egg shell +
peanut shell is more suitable to produce bio-plastic because it is easy to compose. It
believes that throughout this project, that able to create a multipurpose bio-plastic that can
contribute to lesser amount of plastic waste discharge at the future.

Eutrophication is the enrichment of the environment with nutrients and the concomitant
production of undesirable effects, while the presence of excess nutrients per se is merely
regarded as hypernutrification. In more detail, eutrophication is the process of nutrient
enrichment (usually by nitrogen and phosphorus) in aquatic ecosystems such that the
productivity of the system ceases to be limited by the availability of nutrients. It occurs
naturally over geological time, but may be accelerated by human activities. So, the main
purpose of this project to determine the potential of filter component to minimize the impact
of eutrophication. It is based on the parameters of PH, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD). The result was taken in three weeks to test the
water from before and after the algae was filtered. Conclusion will be made by referring the
data given in the laboratory test and determine the potential of the filter component.

Solid waste generation has been increasing annually and the solid waste management has
been a problem due to the improper waste management system. This project is an
innovation that aids in the solid waste management system. ETB is an innovation design to
replace the commercial bin and to produce with the concern of the municipal solid waste
disposal system as well as environmental pollution mitigation. ETB consist of Three (3)
phases which are waste storage, leachate filtration and composting. ETB was constructing
using galvanized metal. The Compactor was made up of galvanized metal. The Compactor
which has a function to compact the waste, whereas the leachate filtration using effective
natural material such as, charcoal, fine sand and the gravel. Then compost fertilizer was
made from the organic waste that was taken from ETB, to test in the growth of the plant. It
was about nine (9) experimental test were taken for ETB. This test was done to study the
effectiveness of ETB and to compare it with the normal commercial bin as well as to achieve
the objective mission. In conclusion, all the experiments were carried out by referring the
procedures and data obtain has been recorded.

ABSTRAK
In this study, cellulose was extracted from durian rind by using chemical treatment such as
alkaline treatment and bleaching process. These treatments removed waxes, hemicelluloses
and lignin which cover the surface of durian fibers. The treated durian fibers was undergo
alkaline treatment by using 2% NaOH solution for 4 h at 100℃ under mechanical stirring due
to remove the alkali. After that, the bleaching process has been carried out by treating the
durian cellulose fiber in 1.5 L solution that made up of NaCl and aqueous CCOOH. The
bleaching process was performed at 70℃ for 2 h. The bleached cellulose fiber was filtered
and washed repeatedly with distilled water until the pH of the fiber become neutral. The
extraction process was carried out by treating each gram of durian cellulose fibers with 30
mL of 64% of S. Conclusion was performed by using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and
Scanning Electron Microscopy. FTIR spectroscopy to compare the characteristic of natural
fibre and fibre from durian rind.

Microbial Fuel Cell or MFC is a new technology that provides a system that can generate
electricity. Before generate electricity, the aim is to remove the phosphorus. Rabbit waste is
selected to be the phosphorus type because rabbit waste contains the highest phosphorus
other than the other animal. Literally, the rabbit waste or rabbit manure is not only can be
compost for fertilizer. But, rabbit waste, can generate the electricity and at the same time the
phosphorus is being removed to its chemical reaction that react with the catalyst in the
microbial fuel cell (MFC). Generally, there are some type of wastewater that been selected
as a catalyst for the phosphorus, which is grey water, sea water and leachate. Each
wastewater is being diluted with the rabbit waste to produce a solution for the process of
microbial fuel cell. The proportion of ratio for the mix solution is 2 : 1 which is rabbit waste
and each of waste water. For the phosphorus removal, the proportion of dilution is 1 : 15
which is mix solution and distilled water. Current density from the rabbit waste is not enough
to generate the electricity. Conclusion will be made by referring the data given in removal
phosphorus test and determine that the phosphorus removal in Microbial Fuel Cell is
effective or not.

Security system is an important predicament in our Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah to protect
the students whom are venturing late at night and attending late up into the campus. In the
campus of the PSIS, there’s a vulnerable issue which is absence of system to fine the
students and doesn’t have a better security measure to protect the students at night. Due to
the absence of strong evidence the student has been cheating by writing other students
name and registration number in the log book when they have been caught by the security
guards or wardens. RFID technology facilitates automatic wireless identification of the
students by using electronic devices with RFID reader via ID card of the students. In
addition, to these peripherals ID card of the students is used to identify the data of the
students. The process of Student Verification System, to scan the ID card of the students
and process the identification process. When the card is scanned, the database starts to run
and it will automatically, the data of students is enrolled with the day, date, time with the ID
card number in the database. Microsoft EXCEL is front end is used to interface the
ArduinoUno Microcontroller and PC through serial port and database connectivity and
validation checking options. It also uses as the back end to store the details of each and
every student of who are venturing late at night and attending up late into the campus. The
reports can be generated in real-time processing, thus provides valuable information about
the students’ commitments in attending up late into campus.

communication device via android. Apparently, the result shows that this system working
successfully and in addition the IP Camera that monitor via phone application capture real

Database system. Most of them have their own unique matric card number and also their

The project that was created is "Security Door Lock Using Nodemcu". The main purpose of
this project is to facilitate the user to open the door without using the keys and without
having to be on the scene to open it. The most common problems are when the user forgets
to bring a key or lost the key. Additionally, users take time to open the door. This project
uses ultrasonic sensors to detect the presence of the user and the room owner will get a
message on the phone saying there are people at the door. Then, the room owner can know
who is at the door through the video recorded using the IP camera that is on the door. Next,
the room owner unlocked the door through the Blynk application and presses the 'Unlock'
button. Finally, the result shows that this project work successfully according to the idea and
requirements needed.

notify the user as the sensor detects movement by human which the system will notice the

system also is able to distinguish between intruder and pets which we have solve the false
alarm by taping some area to the detection sensor. This kind of system ideal is an ideal

problems faced in foodservices such as inexperienced workers with limited skills who have
received little or no training and have limited exposure only and food operators lack
knowledge recognizing in foodservice sanitation. The objective of this study is to develop an
operation aids that helps in learning and learning process for DTH1012-Foodservice
Sanitation by using QR Code with SWOT Analysis method. This study produces a mind map

students and faculty to use our project ideas for teaching and learning sessions. Our project
is to write a subject that is taught to students as a topic of Halal Slaughtering in Islam. Our
ideas are created because; we observe the majority of students always stick with the internet
and each gadget in the classroom. They found few people carrying books or notes into the
classroom. So we created a note on the website and made it through QR Codes. Where
students only need to scan QR Codes on our product - booklets and flashcards. This idea
was created because the booklets are very light and easy to carry, while the flashcard is an
interesting idea and easy to carry anywhere because of its pocket size. Therefore students
and instructors do not have to carry heavy and large books into the classroom.

This study explains the increasingly advanced technology. We choose traditional kuih as our
title to avoid traditional pastries getting forgotten. This is why many do not know about the
history of kuih available in Malaysia. This is because, the history of traditional Malay kuih is
not disclosed or described in any social site easily. However, we have been studying
traditional Malay kuih and combining them with the latest technology of QR Code to facilitate
information retrieval. This traditional cake is very much loved by our people, but also
foreigners are also attracted by the unique flavor of this traditional kuih, its flavor, shape and
method cooking. We created this QR Code by dividing the way cooking or cooking methods
such as boiling, steaming, frying and baking. Finally, we will create a table calendar product
that combines traditional kuih with QR Code entitled ""Discover Traditional Malay Kuih"".
This product is to help people who want to know more about the history of traditional Malay
kuih and how to cook easily and fast.

The AR Animales Application is an augmented reality application that shows the animals in
3D by using the Android platform. This application works when it scans the animals in the
provided AR Animales book. The application will displays the animals that contain in the
book such as rabbit, tiger, cat and many more. It shows the certain animals that includes in
Dunia Sains dan Teknologi subject for Standard 3. The purpose of the application is to help
the students easy to memorize the information in the textbook. The Agile Scrum
methodology is used in the development of this application. The application will make it short
and simple for describing the animals for students to memorize and understand well in an
interesting way. Moreover, this application can solve the problem faced in term of
arrangement information in the textbook. The arrangement of the animals’ information in the
textbook are cluttered and it is quite not suitable for the students. The arrangement of
information is difficult to be understood and memorized. This application will displays the
animals with their information using multimedia elements such as display animals in 3D
form, sound of the animals and the simple text of animal’s description according to the
characteristics, eating behavior and habitat. Furthermore, there are lacks of exercises in the
textbook of Dunia Sains dan Teknologi for Standard 3; thus, AR Animales Application
provides simple quizzes for students to attempt the quizzes in interesting ways. In
conclusion, the AR Animales Application is very useful and helpful to the user especially to
the teacher and students to implement teaching and learning process efficiently.

Smart Suspensions Clothes is the powerful product used to protect the clothes from exposed
to the rainwater. The existing product in the market is quite traditional where they still on
same idea. Most of the existing product can only act as automatic device. But, this project
would like to highlight the important feature where it can be remote even from far distance.
Through the observation and feedback from respondent, most of people facing a problem
where they don’t have enough time to pick up the clothes while they are out of area. This will
give a bad impact to the user where another trouble is arising when user leave the clothes
hanging for a long day. Otherwise, the user needs to be more concern to these problems.
Thus, a Smart Suspensions Clothes is introduced to overcome this problem. The main
advantages of this product are it equipped with automatic system and remotely access by
mobile application indirectly makes the user easy to work with it. The user also will satisfy
with this product due to the feature that supports low cost installation. By building an
innovative product, it will help improved the product in term of flexibility, capability and
reduction of cost. The use of wireless technology, will gives a benefit to the user with
distance. At last, Smart Suspensions Clothes with wireless technology will become a best
internet of things product.
SMART CARE AND FERTILIZE CHILI PLANT

ABSTRAK
Plant monitoring is seen as one of the most important tasks in any farming or agriculture
based environment. This project will describe about Smart Care and Fertilize Chili Plants.
This project has three main systems and various types of sensors that will combine to each
other have to create a perfect combination system. This project only involves hardware only.
All of the circuits are automatic functional and but the power supply must open it manually.
The first circuit is an Automatic Water Sprinkle that combines with an Automatic Water Pump
that functional to sprinkle and water the chili plants. The soil sensor to detect the conditions
of the soil is also used. This Automatic Water Sprinkler circuit is operating in automatically.
Then, second is servo motor that will give the fertilize come out automatically based on the
quantity that have been set. Next, the automatic system that will operate when temperature
is high or low which is LM35 sensor is used. When the sensor detects heat or no heat, the
lamp will switch ON or OFF the light automatically. This Smart Care and Fertilize Chili Plants
will make the users easier to monitor and manage their plants if they are not in the same
places.

With increase in population, we have increase awareness on the garbage around us. Some
of us take lightly about this issue by ignoring rubbish that increase every hour in the garbage
bins. People nowadays do not like to open the dustbin lid to throw the rubbish inside when
the dustbin lid was dirty. Here we are proposing a Smart Dustbin that operates automatically
to help solve this issue using IOT and sensor circuitry. Usual dustbin, some of them required
to be opened by pressing foot against its lever or by hand. Also we need to keep track when
it is full so that it can be emptied and does not overflow. Here we propose a Smart Dustbin
that does all this by itself. The Ultrasonic Sensor detect human who want to throw the
rubbish by open the lid automatically. It also consists of level sensing ultrasonic sensor that
constantly measures the level of garbage in the bin and automatically detects if it about to
full. We also will notify user by Blynk application. User can easily use Blynk application on
their smartphone. The interface of this application is user friendly. User need to use their
data network to connect with NodeMCU v3. That can allow the user to check the level of
garbage and it automatically send notification on user smartphone if it about to full.

effort or prevention before your child being lost or worse is kidnapped. This device main
objective to help parents out there to prevent their child separated from them.

The Poultry Incubator Inspection is an incubator that mainly used to brood an egg. The
existing incubator in the market has lack of function and it still gave an impact to the
breeders. That is because the existing incubator is being controlled manually by setting the
timer and the temperature of the incubator. By using the existing incubator, the breeders
should know if the eggs are hatching or not by check the incubator every day and it is
difficult for some breeders that have some other business to settle. The poultry Incubator
inspection is introduced to overcome this problem. The main advantage of this device is that
it can operate automatically without any difficult controllable function. It has an automatically
temperature set up, so that it can maintain the perfect temperature for the eggs to be brood.
It is also can connect to the Wi-Fi so that it can alert the breeder if any of the eggs are
hatching wherever they are as long as they are connected to the internet. The Poultry
Incubator Inspection is designed as compact as possible so that the breeders can move it
anywhere they want. The Poultry Incubator Inspection also can be used by beginner or
student for study purpose as it is design to easily used and safe. This makes the Poultry
Incubator Inspection different from other incubator that doesn’t have the mobility function.

The Reminder Watering System is a device that water plants automatically. It is a modern
method that used for watering plants based time. The main purpose of Reminder Watering
System is to help the visually impaired people to water their plants. This project can
overcome forgetfulness and busy in daily life. Therefore, it will be automatically watering the
plants at a specific time. Time is set by how many times the plant will be water daily. It is
designed in the context of the busy life. The problem is gardening will be one of the
problems for the blind. Besides, there are no ones to remind them to do the chores. The
methodology to design the device is an agile scrum method. Finally, there are three scopes
in the Reminder Watering System which is Alarm Module – the user will be alert that the
plants are been water. Secondly, Water Pump – the water will be out automatically to water
the plants. Lastly, Finalize module – the water pump and alarm buzzer can function together.

Smart House System is totally about how to bring the house facilities to tie with the current
technology towards the IT world. Basically, a normal house will be equipped with normal
switch and unsecure plus not so inconvenient with the user expectation. But the Smart
House System will fulfill the user expectation by having the fingerprint sensor at door which
make it the house environment secure and automatic fan and light switch that using the
distance sensor plus by getting a little power from solar energy. In this era where almost
everything is technology based, user more likely to make their lifestyle easy and at the same
time safe and secure, for that, Smart House System will play the vital role to make it realistic.
We had come to this idea because nowadays user tend to feel unsecure when the door
easily breakable and accessible and fan and light switches also become some waste of time
since we switch on manually. Thus make it a major problem. In attempts of solving this
problem we came about this project to design a model house with advanced facilities which
is the fan and lights will be switched on and off automatically when the distance sensor verify
the object at a particular area as we have coding it on Arduino to further output and the
house door will be accessible only for the authorized person by fingerprint sensor. This
Smart House System really can become basic need in future as fast the world grows
towards technology increment.
SMART AQUARIUM AND AQUAPONICS SYSTEM

ABSTRAK
This project is about to create a Smart Aquarium and Aquaponics System that can
automatically feed the fish at the same amount and at the right time that have been set to
the feeder motor using a microcontroller called Arduino. Besides that, this system also have
sensor that use to monitor the quantity of food that left in the fish food container. The sensor
will send notification to the owner using Blynk app when the sensor cannot detect the food at
the level that have been set. In addition it also have turbidity sensor that use to monitor the
water quality whether the water is cloudy or not. For the Aquaponics, The water pump that
use to control the water flow from the aquarium to the grow bed will be connect to the
Arduino using relay. This relay is used to control the pump to, so that the pump will
automatically turn on at the time that has been set. There are also a LED light above the
grow bed. The LED light is also connected to the Arduino and the light will also switch on at
the time that has been set. This light are used to allow the aquaponics system used indoor.

ABSTRAK
This report presents a tracking system to track the personal objects through Wi-Fi
technology. Objects are usually tracked by the signal based on Wi-Fi network strength.
Moreover, we use ESP8266 module and BLYNK application for them to be connected with
each other so that the range can be happened between the application and the device. The
device notifies a user by send a notifications through the Blynk application on user’s
smartphone when it is out of range. Hence each target object will have a tag that has
ESP8266 module. The experimental results suggest that people mostly misplaced their
items or accidentally drop their belongings can be found within a short span of time by using
the personal tracker device.
