The English Carnival is held to improve pupils competence in using English Language by exposing and giving them opportunity to participate in the English -based activities. This carnival is one of the Highly-Immersive Programme (HIP) that will help pupils to enjoy learning English language informally outside the classroom environment. BACKGROUND OF THE PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE To instill interest in learning English Language among pupils. To improve English acquisition to become a competent language user. To build confidence among pupils to take part in competitive language activities with positive fighting spirit. To unearth pupils' talent and creativity. TARGET All pupils from SMK (L) Bukit Bintang, Petaling Jaya.
