It includes sending hurtful or mean comments and even threats to intimidate or threaten a person. We should not bully anyone online. Think carefully if the comments you are about to send will affect anyone. If we know someone being bullied online, we should immediately inform our teachers or parents. Digital etiquette When we communicate online, we should engage in appropriate manners. We should respect ourselves and others just like we do when we talk to someone face to face. Always be polite and give positive and encouraging comments. There was a great party that most of Zack’s classmates attended but Zack. Zack felt left out when his friends talked about it. He regretted for not attending the party. He then vented his feelings on the social media directed at his friends. Therefore, some information found online might be offensive, inaccurate or biased. We should check several sources of information to verify it. Some people humiliate, intimidate and taunt others through the Internet. This causes distress, depression and low self-esteem among the victims.
