A Read the text below.
Would you like to stay in a resort which has villas on the sea? Then you should head on
to Lexis Hibiscus, Port Dickson. The villas of the Lexis Hibiscus are arranged over the waters of
the Straits of Malacca to look like a hibiscus.
In 2017, the resort became a Guinness World Records holder for achieving “The most
swimming pools in a resort at 643” and “The most over-water villas in single resort at 522”.
So far, more than 630,000 tourists have visited Lexis
Hibiscus. The resort which is along the Pasir Panjang beach has
altogether 639 villas. The pool villas have their own private pool
and steam room to make guests feel comfortable.
There are also many restaurants at the resort. Guests can
get both international and local food at the restaurants. The
resort also has a spa, a kids’ club and a karaoke center. They
also have the tallest seawater fountain in Malaysia at 400 feet.

My city: PETALING JAYA
Petaling Jaya is a city in the middle of Selangor. It became a city in 20 June 2006 and it’s
got a population of about 211,700. Petaling Jaya has lots of buildings, shops and landmarks.
I like Petaling Jaya because it’s an interesting place and the people are rather friendly.
There are a lot of good shopping centres and cinemas here too. My favourite places are
the theme park and Gasing Hill.
There are some nice places near Petaling Jaya. It’s not too far from the sea and there’s
a lovely beach in Bagan Lalang. There are also buses and trains to Kuala Lumpur
and other areas. I like Kuala Lumpur but I think Petaling Jaya is more exciting.

My city: GEORGETOWN
Georgetown is the capital city of Penang. Its on the north east of Penang and it’s got a

I like Georgetown because it’s a nice place and the people here are friendly. There are a lot
of good shops and restaurants here. My favourite place is the museum and Botanical Garden.
There are some interesting places near Georgetown. Not too far from Georgetown is the
Batu Ferringhi Beach. There are also buses and planes to Alor Setar and to the south. I like
Alor Setar but I think Georgetown is more amazing.

Hassan has two older brothers and two younger sisters. Hassan and his family live with
his grandparents. Hassan’s grandfather and grandmother take care of him and his siblings
when their parents go to work.
Hassan’s father, Encik Daud works as a manager. He leaves the house at six in the
morning as he does not want to get stuck in a jam. His mother, Puan Khatijah works as a PAK-21 Activity
nurse. She leaves the house around seven in the morning. Hassan’s grandfather, Pak Mail
drives Hassan and his siblings to school. Meanwhile Hassan’s grandmother Mak Limah cooks
for the family. Pak Mail sometimes helps her to cook.
Hassan and his older brothers often help their grandparents to do the house chores.
His younger sisters don’t help as they are too young. They usually play dolls together. The
whole family always watches television in the evenings. During the weekends, Encik Daud
would usually bring the family out to eat at a restaurant.
