Preface

The series ‘Vedanta Newbie Kids’ has been published to ease
teaching learning activities. It is based on changes in educational
thinking, research, and realities of the classroom. It aims at
developing appropriate attitude, skills, and knowledge (ASK) in
children from early stage to be the competitive citizen of the
world.

The activities are designed to encourage learners and
facilitators to work collaboratively for the targeted outcome.
They are focused on enhancement of four language skills and
formation of concrete concepts about basic contents of learning
with the idea of making learners progressively autonomous,
the contents are prepared in the most relevant sequential and
practical ways.

The series is prepared carefully to bridge up the subject
matter with successive grade. Curiosity, creativity, and level
of confidence in the children are the major considerations for
selection of the theme.

We would like to acknowledge all the educational leaders,
colleagues, and teachers of Montessori/pre-school for their
initiation, encouragement, an d sincere support for accomplishment
of the series.

Utmost efforts have been made to make the series errors
free. Despite due attention, some errors or weaknesses may
be detected during its use. Therefore, all the teachers, parents,
academicians, and well-wishers are kindly requested to provide
us with feedback to make the series better in the days to come.
