Once upon a time…

Today Pam and Randall’s grandkids
went to the Yelm farm and picked
bushels of fruit and ride 4-wheelers.
They can’t stop talking about it.

That’s right!!

PRESENTATION MODE A week prior to her birthday, Pam
TO FULLY received the most curious travel
APPRECIATE!  pamphlet promising an extraordinary, all
expenses paid, safe, travel “experience”
during the pandemic.
Knowing Michelle is an avid traveler
and likely starved for travel adventure,
she invited her to join! The journey
began in Alaska in a camper (what?!?!)
which turned out to be a…….. time
travel machine!
It was crazy and a little scary, but they
landed on the most amazing, COVID-
free island! Kowabunga! Michelle and
Pam did a little walking but mostly
relaxed on the beautiful white sand
beaches.
What a magical time and a great way to
celebrate Pam’s birthday!

Pam and Laura ventured out
for some bear watching in
Ketchikan. They both love
wildlife and Alaskan
adventures, and they were
having SO much fun. That
is, until they discovered…

…THE BEARS HAD BEEN
WATCHING THEM ALL
ALONG.

It turns out the bears had
recently invested in video
surveillance of their
territory, originally as a
safety precaution. However,
they came to find great
entertainment in their new
“reality TV”, mocking
tourists ill-attired for the
elements, tiny purse dogs,
and vegan trail snacks.

Pam and Lynn
both love to

travel. Right now
they can only
dream about it.

But oh they places
they will go once
the pandemic is

over……

Pam couldn’t
decide where
to go next…

she had so many choices and so little
time. She tried throwing darts at the
map, she tried asking friends, but just
couldn’t make up her mind.

Kate decided a day at the spa was in order to They were feeling oh-so fancy
celebrate Pam’s birthday! with their mud masks on,
until …. the fire alarm blared,
She booked the three- and they had to be evacuated!
hour session that included Kate and Pam pranced outside
hair, nails, a massage and with the spa- issued white
facials. robes, pedicure flip-flops and
their hair in a towel.

As it turns out it was a false alarm All in all they got some good
laughs and had a pretty-fun
created by the candles on time at the spa for Pam’s
birthday.

When Jen visited Ketchikan for the first time, she
asked Pam what they should do together. Pam
suggested they go whale watching. “It’ll be fun,”
she said. “You can get really close sometimes.”

Jen agreed that whale watching would be fun, so
Pam booked their trip with an out of town
fisherman that a “friend of a friend” met down on
the docks.

They went out on the water and were having a
glorious time, until the first whale did a full spyhop,
and then breached right at the stern of the boat.
That’s when the captain said, “We’re gonna need a
bigger boat.”

Pam and I looked at each other with eyes the size
of dinner plates and I said, “Where have I heard
that before?”

Pam and Teri love to
go traveling.

Today, they went to
the beach and put
their toes in the

ocean.
