categorize because – over the years – the
ongoing needs of the market have dictated
the categories the company embraces.

Dry bulk? Check, because the market
needs it.

Dedicated carriage? Someone is asking
for it.

Flat bed? There’s a demand and
someone has to fill it.

Liquid tankers? When customers are
looking to you for help, you find a way.

In fact, while the company temporarily
exited the liquid tanker market in the
1990s except for a few tar and asphalt
tankers (only to return in response
to customer demand), the company’s
founding saw it focused exclusively on
hauling gasoline, jet fuel and lube oil.

And it should surprise no one that
Wooten Transports has expanded its
offerings over the years in response
to customer demand – because it was
customer demand that brought about
its founding.
