Nene luhu In ancient times, there was a country called Negeri Luhu which coincided on Seram Island, Maluku. Luhu Country was once the largest clove producer. There was a king named Raja Gimalaha Luhu Tuban who was the king of Luhu country which had not too many people. King Luhu was blessed with a girl named Ta Ina Luhu. Long story short, there was a battle between the Dutch colonialists and the people of Luhu so that the Dutch succeeded in seizing control of Negeri Luhu. This war is known as the Pong War or the Huamual War. Until finally, King Luhu and his family and all his people died under the feet of the Dutch, but only the daughter of a Luhu king, Ta Ina Luhu, survived. She was captured and taken by the Dutch colonialists to Ambon Island to become the wife of a Dutch warlord. Arriving on the island of Ambon, Ta Ina Luhu refused to be his wife by the Dutch warlord. The reason was because he was treated unreasonably by the
commander in chief, so Ta Ina Luhu tried her best to escape from Ambon Island. Without thinking long, Ta Ina Luhu managed to escape and headed to a country called Negeri Soya. There, he was welcomed by King Soya and treated like part of King Soya's family. After several months living in Soya Country, Ta Ina Luhu was discovered to be pregnant which made her feel uncomfortable to stay there. As night fell, Ta Ina Luhu couldn't help wanting to run away secretly. Then, he found a horse belonging to King Soya and immediately rushed away with it. Shortly after his departure, King Soya's guards searched for Ta Ina Luhu. Long story short, King Soya's bodyguard found Ta Ina Luhu on Mount Nona, but she still rushed to avoid it and nimbly headed for Amahusu Beach. When a bodyguard wanted to withdraw her hand, suddenly Ta Ina Luhu mysteriously disappeared so that the guard was stunned and could not believe what happened. Since that incident, the people of Ambon feel that they are often disturbed by spirits. Moreover, when it rains with hot weather. According to the beliefs of local residents, spirits who like to kidnap children are the embodiment of Ta Ina Luhu. Therefore, until now this mysterious figure is known as Grandma Luhu. Pada zaman dahulu, ada sebuah negeri bernama Negeri Luhu yang bertepatan di Pulau Seram, Maluku. Negeri Luhu ini dulunya sebagai tempat penghasil cengkih terbanyak.
Adapun seorang raja bernama Raja Gimalaha Luhu Tuban yang merupakan raja negeri Luhu yang memiliki tidak terlalu banyak penduduk. Raja Luhu dikaruniai seorang gadis bernama Ta Ina Luhu. Singkat cerita, terjadi pertempuran antara penjajah Belanda dengan rakyat Luhu sehingga Belanda berhasil merebut kekuasaan Negeri Luhu. Perang tersebut dikenal dengan nama Perang Pongi atau Perang Huamual. Hingga akhirnya, Raja Luhu beserta keluarga dan seluruh rakyatnya tewas di bawah kaki Belanda, tetapi hanya putri dari seorang raja Luhu yakni Ta Ina Luhu yang selamat. Ia ditangkap dan dibawa oleh penjajah Belanda ke Pulau Ambon untuk dijadikan istri panglima perang Belanda. Sesampainya di pulau Ambon, Ta Ina Luhu menolak untuk dijadikan istri oleh panglima perang Belanda. Alasannya, karena ia diperlakukan tidak masuk akal oleh panglima tersebut sehingga Ta Ina Luhu berusaha sebisa mungkin untuk kabur dari Pulau Ambon. Tak pikir panjang, Ta Ina Luhu berhasil melarikan diri dan menuju ke sebuah negeri bernama Negeri Soya. Di sana, ia disambut baik oleh Raja Soya dan diperlakukan seperti bagian dari keluarganya Raja Soya. Setelah beberapa bulan tinggal di Negeri Soya, Ta Ina Luhu diketahui hamil yang mana membuat ia merasa tidak nyaman untuk tetap tinggal di sana. Saat malam tiba, Ta Ina Luhu tak tahan untuk ingin melarikan diri secara diam-diam. Kemudian, ia menemukan seekor kuda milik Raja Soya dan langsung bergegas pergi bersama kuda itu. Tak lama setelah kepergiannya, pengawal Raja Soya mencari Ta Ina Luhu. Singkat cerita, pengawal Raja Soya menemukan Ta Ina Luhu di Gunung Nona, namun ia masih bergegas menghindar dan menuju Pantai Amahusu dengan gesit. Saat seorang pengawal ingin menarik tangannya, tiba-tiba Ta Ina Luhu menghilang secara gaib sehingga para pengawal tercengang tidak percaya menyaksikan peristiwa itu. Sejak peristiwa itu, masyarakat Ambon merasa sering diganggu oleh sosok makhluk halus. Apalagi, ketika hujan turun dengan cuaca yang panas. Orang Ambon menyebutkan dengan istilah “ujang panas” di mana seringkali ada saja orang yang hilang, terutama anak-anak. Menurut kepercayaan warga setempat, makhluk halus yang suka menculik anak-anak merupakan penjelmaan dari Ta Ina Luhu. Oleh karena itu, sampai sekarang sosok misterius itu dikenal dengan sebutan Nenek Luhu.
