Milestones

Our history began when our founder left his position at an
International oil company and started business in
Engineering and Construction division in a local company.
The division has grown fast and shown positive impacts to
business stakeholders, who then turned it into a company,
TEC Technique.

The founder and his team continue to grow the business. He
is turning the business into a Holding Company. Founder and
various stakeholder develop a company call AIG Holdings.

Cold Cutting Services

Cold Cutting refers to cutting pipe without the use of
heat from a torch (hot cutting) where open flame is
used.

Hydro Testing Services

A hydrostatic test is a way in which pressure
vessels such as pipelines, plumbing, gas
cylinders, boilers and fuel tanks can be tested for
strength and leaks. The test involves filling the vessel
or pipe system with a liquid, usually water, which may
be dyed to aid in visual leak detection, and
pressurization of the vessel to the specified test
pressure. Pressure tightness can be tested by shutting
off the supply valve and observing whether there is a
pressure loss.

The location of a leak can be visually identified more
easily if the water contains a colorant. Strength is
usually tested by measuring permanent deformation
of the container. Hydrostatic testing is the most
common method employed for testing pipes and
pressure vessels.

bridges and all other man-made structures.

Rigging Services

Rigging is both a noun, the equipment, and verb, the
action of designing and installing the equipment, in
the preparation to move objects.

A team of riggers design and install the lifting or rolling
equipment needed to raise, roll, slide or lift objects
such as with a crane or block and tackle.
Rigging comes from rig, to set up or prepare. Rigging is
the equipment such as wire
rope, turnbuckles, clevis, jacks used with cranes and
other lifting equipment in material
handling and structure relocation.

Rigging systems commonly include shackles, master
links and slings, and lifting bags in underwater lifting.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) regulates workplace safety including rigging.

Tank Fabrication

Storage tanks are containers that hold liquids,
compressed gases or pressure vessel, which is not
typically labeled or regulated as a storage tank or
mediums used for the short- or long-term storage of
heat or cold.

An atmospheric tank is a container for holding
a liquid at atmospheric pressure.

Riser Clamp

A Riser clamp is a type of hardware used by
mechanical building trades for pipe support in vertical
runs of piping (risers) at each floor level. The devices
are placed around the pipe and integral fasteners are
then tightened to clamp them onto the pipe.
The friction between the pipe and riser clamp
transfers the weight of the pipe through the riser
clamp to the building structure. Risers are generally
located at floor penetrations, particularly for
continuous floor slabs such as concrete. Heavier piping
types such as cast iron require more frequent support.
Ordinarily, riser clamps are made of carbon steel and
individually sized to fit certain pipe sizes. "Riser" refers
to vertical runs of pipes, electrical conduit and tubes.
There are at least two types of riser clamp: the two-
bolt pipe clamp and the yoke clamp.

Concrete Weight Coating

Concrete weight coating provides reliable negative
buoyancy as well as protection from harsh
environments and mechanical damage that can
occur—to both the pipe and its thermal insulation
coating—during handling, transportation and pipe
installation.
A concrete pipe coating can be applied over anti-
corrosion and thermal insulation systems and applied
in different densities to meet each project’s unique
needs. Their excellent compression resistance meets
the most stringent international specifications.

Vessel Internals

Vessel internals, also known as tower or reactor
internals are widely used in the oil and gas industry.
Quality is the key when it comes to pressure vessel
internals. Designed to contain certain fluids, liquids or
solids, industrial vessels need to resist a wide range of
stresses and constraints — pressure, flow, erosion,
corrosion, vibration, etc.

If you’re in need of new or replacement vessel
internals, you need to turn to a manufacturer that has
the experience in materials choice and vessel internal
component fabrication to ensure a quality vessel that
is ready to be put to work and that will provide
reliable, long-term safety and service.

Personal Protection Insulation

Piping Insulation is required for the purposes of
conservation of heat, maintenance of stabilized
process temperatures during atmospheric
temperature changes, condensation prevention, burn
prevention of personnel or limiting noise levels
according to the classification nominated.

Three types of insulation are required :
Cold insulation,
Hot Insulation and,
Personal Protection.

Personal protection insulation should be up to 2.1
meters above grade and platform elevation, and 0.6
meters outside the platforms, walkways etc. Fully
insulated personal protection is required for lines
operating above 200 deg. C

and Overhaul. Simply put, MRO is any action that
helps keep or restore an item to its working condition.

Lifting gear inspection is a detailed visual and
operational inspection whereby individual lifting

Tank Cleaning

The process of removing hydrocarbon vapours, liquids
or residues. Tank cleaning may be required for one or
more of the following reasons:

To carry clean ballast.

To gas free tanks for internal inspections, repairs or
prior to entering dry dock.

To remove sediments from tank top plating. This may
be required if the vessel is engaged in the repetitive
carriage of fuel oil or similar sediment settling cargoes.
Although washing may not be necessary in between
consecutive voyages, assuming the cargoes are
compatible, many Ship Owners have found it prudent
to water wash a small group of tanks on a rotation
basis between voyages, thus preventing any large
accumulation of sediments.

Offshore Construction

Offshore construction is the installation of structures,
Piping and facilities in a marine environment, usually
for the production and transmission of electricity, oil,
gas and other resources. It is also called maritime
engineering.
Construction and pre-commissioning is typically
performed as much as possible onshore. To optimize
the costs and risks of installing large offshore
platforms, different construction strategies have been
developed.

Process Skid Package

A modular process skid is a process system contained
within a frame that allows the process system to be
easily transported. Individual skids can contain
complete process systems and multiple process skids
can be combined to create larger process systems or
entire portable plants.

They are sometimes called “a system in a box.” An
example of a multi-skid process system might include
a raw materials skid, a utilities skid and a processing
unit which work in tandem.

Pipe Line End Manifold (PLEM)

The Pipe Line End Manifold (PLEM) is a subsea
structure acts as a connection point between the main
or branch pipeline. The PLEM consist of WOM Dual
Block Valves (ROV Operated), Gate Valves, Tees and
hubs. PLEM has facilities for Multiphase Flowmeter,
pig launching and/or receiving. The standard interface
and components such as hubs and flange outlets are
provided for production and well service line to meet
client’s specific requirements. The PLEM vary in size
and complexity and can include a greater variety of
features and facilities.

Procedure Services

Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) is the formal
written document describing welding procedures,
which provides direction to the welder or welding
operators for making sound and quality production
welds as per the code requirements .

The purpose of the document is to guide welders to
the accepted procedures so that repeatable and
trusted welding techniques are used.
Individual welders are certified with a qualification
test documented in a Welder Qualification Test Record
(WQTR) that shows they have the understanding and
demonstrated ability to work within the specified
WPS.
