LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this lesson, pupils are able to :-
State that material expands when it gains heat and contracts when it
loses heat by observing the activities such as:
heating ring and the heating and cooling of immersing a bottle

What causes the bottle cap
to pop off?
The air in the drinking bottle expanded when it
gained heat from the hot water. This causes the
bottle cap to pop off.

mengembang apabila menerima haba dari air panas.
Keadaan ini menyebabkan penutup botol terbuka.
How can the overlapping
glasses be separated?
When the ice cubes are put into the glasses, the
glasses will contract because they lose heat.
Thus, the overlapping glasses can be separated.
Apabila ketulan ais diletakkan ke dalam gelas kaca,
gelas akan mengecut kerana kehilangan haba. Oleh
itu, gelas yang bertindan dapat dipisahkan.
