CICM’s Workshop

On 27th October 2021. Workshop on Verification of Achievements According to the
announcement of the Ministry of Education on the National Qualifications
Framework for Higher Education B.E. 2009, the curriculum stipulates that the
curriculum shall verify student achievement in accordance with the learning
outcome standards set forth in the TFQ : HEd 3 At least 25% of the courses offered
in each academic year to ensure that the course implementation meets higher
education standards and to confirm the teaching and learning process that can
produce graduates with skills according to expected learning outcomes. Persons in
charge of the program, full-time instructors and instructors must have knowledge
and understanding of correct achievement verification principles and be able to
verify learning achievements in courses taught or managed in order to Use the
results of the verification of achievement to improve the teaching and learning
process to be standardized.
• Principles of Verification of Achievement
• Workshop Part 1: Groups are divided to review achievement examinations in
various courses and present the results of operations
• Workshop Part 2 is divided into groups to plan for improvement of achievement
examinations in each course.

CICM Day, 2020

2020 was held for the parents to
meet and greet with our CICM
administrators. We also held the
evening dinner party for them
including the performances from our
CICM students. Most of all, smiled,
relaxed, and enjoined the evening
indeed!

On 2nd November 2021. Prof. Adis Tasanarong, M.D., Ph.D. Dean of
Chulabhorn International College of Medicine received Medical Devices and
Equipment donated by Pharm.Preecha from LivaNova (Thailand) Ltd. for their
use in medical education at Thammasat University Hospital. We thank them
for their great support!

Drive Thu to get iPad

On August 4, 8, 2021. 1st year students
received their new iPads on campus.
In an effort to prevent the spread of the virus,
we held a drive thru to help make the
distribution safe and distanced.

COVID 19 and the new school year

On August 11,2021. Associate Prof. Nuntra Suwantarat, M.D., talks to students
about Covid-19 and the new school year. We appreciate her time she gave us to
educate new students and current ones on Thailand's current situation. As a team
member of the Infection Control at Thammasat University Hospital and an
Infectious Disease specialist we were honored to be able to hear her thoughts.

USMLE & ABROAD

INFORMATIONAL AND WORKSHOP

On September 1, 2021.
CICM hosted its annual USMLE
and Abroad Informational. We
had over 150 participants from
all over Thailand online with
great talks from our very own
U.S. trained faculty members
and guests from Chulalongkorn
University including
Dr. Aekerach. We would like to
thank all of our guest speakers
and encourage everyone to
stay tuned for our recorded
video of the meeting. See you
next year!

CICM for SOCIETY
On September 4, 2021. Dean Dr. Adis shows packages prepared by Student
Council members who volunteered their time in observance of Mahidol Day.
Mahidol Day remains an important holiday focused on the origins of modern
healthcare in Thailand. The packages will be delivered to patients undergoing
Home Isolation for COVID-19 under the care of Thammasat Hospital.

Thank you to everyone involved, all
donators Less plastic Thailand has
now donated 500 PPE costumes to
various hospitals in need However,
more PPE costumes are in the
manufacturing process, which will be
donated around the start of next
month. We will keep you updated.
1 PPE costume can be washed and
reused up to 20 times Not only does
this greatly reduce the amount of
infected trash, the amount of plastic
waste is also significantly reduced,
whilst lightening the load of hospitals
in fighting COVID-19.

Wai Kru Ceremony 2021

On October 6, 2021. CICM
held its Wai Kru Ceremony
online this year. Thank you
students for organizing a
great event!

The Facial Plastics Webinar

On October 7, 2021. CICM and Thammasat University Department of
Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery hosted the TU Facial Plastics Webinar
this evening inviting distinguished faculty from the US to speak to residents
and practicing physicians from all around Thailand.

CICM breaks record

On October 16, 2021, our CVS students
Napasorn Issarapongsura, Nissareen Manya,
and Dhamabhattara Likhidcharoen were
invited to The 5th Annual Conference in CTT
2021 to present their research on the topic of
Development of Non-blood-based Synthetic
Thrombus Preparation from Gelatin-based
Hydrogel. We are also proud of our CVS Gen
3, Pimploy Chankiew, Noppasorn Ratanaprug,
and Narada Vicharnnikornkij on their award
for the highest score on the national licensing
exam for Cardio-Thoracic Technologists. .
Bravo!
