ABOUT YOUNTVILLE

Yountville, the heart of the Napa Valley, is the ultimate
luxury destination. With its world-class restaurants,
accommodations, and many of Napa Valley’s most
celebrated wines, Yountville blends a breathtaking natural
setting and small-town ambiance with sophisticated Wine
Country lifestyle.

Yountville was established by George Yount in the 1800s.
Yount received the first land grant from the Mexican
government in 1836 and named his property Rancho
Caymus. In the early 1850s, after California became part
of the United States, Yount laid out a six-block area with a
public square and created a village he named Yountville.
George Yount also planted the first grapevines in Napa
Valley, although he never produced wine commercially.

Today, the small-town of Yountville is known for its
walkability, unique experiences, gorgeous scenery,
divine wines, world class restaurants, sophisticated
accommodations, and friendly locals. There’s simply no
place better for those who love to explore the best in
culinary, wine, arts and hospitality than Yountville.

Come and explore Yountville, the Heart of the Napa Valley!
