“TeaPigs started with one mission - to get the nation drinking
real tea again.

It began with a change of making great tea, something with
good quality, very approachable and more importantly …. A

bit of fun!“

We’re aiming to achieve a difference for the environment
and our much-loved customers. Components such as corn-
starch and nature flex provided us with an incredible range
of tea flavours. From this, Teapigs was the first tea-brand
to be greatly awarded the “Plastic-free” trust trademark. A
great range of tea-flavours can be found as well as teaware.

Our everyday brew blend has Rainforest Alliance certification.
We’re working with the RA to get our black tea estates certified
so you can see the little green frog on loads more of our packs!
The Rainforest Alliance’s talented, multilingual, and diverse
staff works hand-in-hand around the world with farmers,
foresters, businesses, researchers, civic organizations, and
governments to meet our shared mission of conserving
biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods.

Certified Plastic Free

The very first Plastic-Free Trustmark from A Plastic Planet.
This certifies packaging which is free of conventional plastic
derived from fossil fuels. Our 15s and 50s packs of tea tem-
ples, our tins of tea and matcha tins are certified plastic-free.

The aim of the Plastic Free Trust Mark is to reduce the use of
plastics, along with incentivising the development of
sustainable materials. This certification is the first of its kind,
using clear language to give customers complete confidence
that products bearing the Plastic Free Trust Mark are truly
plastic free.

Provided by Control Union, the Plastic Free Trust Mark certifies
that end products, packaging and materials contain 0% plastic.
