CONCEPT :“Only connect the prose and the
passion, and both will be exalted, and human
love will be seen at its highest. Live in
fragments no longer.”- E.M Forster, Howards
End
As forster talks about connections, it struck a
chord in my mind. We are now living in an
increasingly digital world. The application of
digital electronics in our lives is huge and
varied. People are interconnected to each
other through digital means.
The idea for this casual dining restaurant
comes from this all-pervading presence of
digital connectivity today and how technology
drives our lifestyle digitally. The concept for
this casual dining is “it’s a digital world
around here.”
Here, just a click of a button summons a
waiter to the table and Led screens that
display trending dishes. The interior décor
uses components of computers and mobile
phones. Instead of turning over the pages one
can scroll down the menu with the help of
LED screens. The furniture will reflect the use
of old computer parts such as floppy disks,
hard disks, CD’s , motherboards etc.
