It is a pleasure and privilege to invite the multi skilled and adept scholars of your venerated
institution to the 4th International Youth Festival, 2020 which is being organized virtually by City
Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II. City Montessori School was founded in 1959 by Dr.
Bharti Gandhi and Dr. Jagdish Gandhi. It is the world's largest school in the Guinness Book of
World Records. We, at City Montessori School, believe that every child is potentially the light of
the world. Our purpose is to broaden the perspective and ignite the spark of excellence in our
children who are the custodians of the future. In these times of exponential technological
advances across the globe and tough competition, quality education has become the need of
the hour. City Montessori School focuses on shaping the young minds to develop critical, logical
and analytical thinking which are going to be crucial competencies for the future. The
International Youth Festival aims to inspire students to develop creative problem solving skills,
engage in productive teamwork and utilize effective communication, all of which are critical to
their success in life. A cornucopia of competitions are being organized to hone the intrinsic and
latent abilities in pupils and to help them to demonstrate their inherent talents and diverse
faculties. Our institution is enthusiastically organizing the International Youth Festival to
promote unity and fellowship among the human race.

Entries for all the events should reach the organizers by 25th November,2020 on the respective
e-mail ids provided on the page of the event.
All entries should be sent only through the official email id of the school.
There is no registration fee.
Kindly confirm your participation by mailing us a scanned copy of the Participant Detail Form
by 10th November, 2020 on [email protected]
It may please be noted that the entries which do not conform to the rules
specified for each competition will be disqualified.

➢ The size of the card should be 21cmx14cm. It should be made on chart paper.
➢ The participants can use any medium of colour to make the card.
➢ The card should bear a message related to the topic.
➢ The entries should be shared in an image or PDF format.

student days was greatly influenced by the

In 1959 Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and his wife Dr. (Mrs)
Bharti Gandhi laid the foundation of City

Montessori School popularly known as CMS, with

five children to impart value based education. Slowly and steadily, CMS became a
popular school of Lucknow for meaningful education and ideal grooming of

children. CMS has attained a unique status of being the world's largest school by

pupils in a single city with more than 55,000 students studying in 18 campuses in

Lucknow recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records.

A dynamic leader, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi is a staunch promoter of unity of mankind,
unity of religions, universal brotherhood and world peace. Well known educationist
and promoter of peace, Jagdish Gandhi was awarded the Derozio Award for
outstanding contribution to education and human enrichment. He is a peace
representative of the World Peace Prayer Society, USA. Under his dynamic
leadership CMS was honoured with the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education in 2002
in recognition of his efforts to promote universal values of education for peace and
tolerance.

Dr. Jagdish Gandhi was the first Indian to be honoured with the Key to the city of
Georgetown, USA, by its Mayor, for being a true visionary in the field of education
by introducing the concept of Quality Control Circle in Education. He is the Founder-
Chairman of World Council for Total Quality and Excellence in Education (WCTQEE).
