Wak Sobirin Farm 9.15 AM - Hi, Assalamualaikum everyone, have you all had breakfast?
11.30 AM Alright, now you're at Wak Sobirin Farm. In this farm they
have produced several types of vegetables and fruits
including cucumber, sweet potato, rock melon, mulberry
and pineapple. The soil used is completely the original
cocopeat soil sinAced2d01a6 luinttlilenbowit.oOfnbeoodf ythteeaxdtvantages
of this cocopeat soil is that it can store water and make it
easier for fertilizers to absorb into the soil and plants. As
for fertilizer, they use their own special fertilizer which is
fertigation fertilizer. They will buy foreign such as calcium
nitrate, forum and so on, then they will mix according to
the predetermined measure. Next, let's go to the bitter
melon part. Bitter melon here is called Peria Besar. These
bitter gourds can produce several other products including
bitter gourd chips, bitter gourd pills, bitter gourd face
masks and bitter gourd coffee. Next, for the process of
harvesting this gourd tree, first the seeds will be soaked in
chlorine water for four hours. Then it will be transferred to
a damp towel and left for two to three days. After that, it
will be transferred to a tray for seven to eight days and
finally it will be transferred to a polybag and wait for thirty
to forty-five days to produce results depending on the type
of seeds. For your knowledge, the plants here are watered
using a machine that has been set on a timer every two
hours. The systems here are one hundred percent made
by Wak Sobirin himself. The bitter melon yield for one
farm is as much as eight tons in the fruiting season. If you
want to know that the bitter melon is ripe, it is when the
size of the sweet potato is large. And the price of this
bitter melon is different here and in the market, the farm
price for one kilo is only RM 5.20 and for the market price
for one kilo it reaches up to RM6 to RM7 for one kilo. Well,
that's all for my briefing, I'll let you all go to pick bitter
melon.

Keropok Lekor 11.30 AM - Hi. Welcome to Keropok Lekor Mokla by Mokla Food. First
Mokla by Mokla 12.30 AM of all, the owner of this Mokla lekor cracker is Puan Ramlah
Binti Hj Muda. The start of this "keropok lekor" business
Food was just a small one in 2005. But unexpectedly, it has
become a big business at this time. For everyone's
knowledge, the fish used to make these "keropok lekor" is
ordered from Terengganu, and the recipe used is an
original Terengganu recipe. This is because Mrs. Ramlah is
a native of Terengganu. These "keropok lekor" take quite a
long time to fry. This is because their "keropok lekor" is
more fish than flour. Because of this, their "keropok lekor"
takes time to really cook and crisp. For your knowledge, in
one day, they can produce as much as one hundred and
eighty kilos of "Keropok lekor" with the help of nine
workers including Puan Ramlah herself. They sell frozen
"keropok lekor" as well as fried ones. However, most
customers prefer frozen because the factory's operating
hours are from eight in the morning until five in the
afternoon. However, they have plans to build a stall on the
side of the road to make it easier for customers to buy
"keropok lekor" that has been fried. In addition to "keropok
lekor" they also sell and process "inti sata" and "popia sata".
This sata filling can also be used as "Karipap", samosa
filling and so on. Well, without further ado, I'll let you all off
to do some "Keropok lekor" kneading and some shopping
too.

We have arrived at a must-visit stopover if you are in the Sabak
Bernam District which is Nata de Coco. The factory produces
local products of nata de coco in various flavours such as lychee,
mango, strawberry, grape and green apple.
Nata de 3.15 PM - The basis of making nata de coco is coconut water that is always
Coco 4.15 PM discarded in the process of making dry coconut. The coconut
water was converted into a gelatin or jelly-like product that
contains fibre. The process of making nata de coco begins by
collecting coconut water filtered from impurities such as soil,
coir and so on in a clean container.
It is important to add sugar to be used as a flavour. It will be
fermented for 2 weeks. For the purpose of sweetening the nata
de coco, the cubes need to be soaked in a sugar water solution
for some time until all the sugar is dissolved. This method is
made to ensure that the nata de coco is long-lasting to store and
delicious to eat. Usually the packaging uses a bottle or jar but the
most popular is a clear plastic container or cup where the
contents can be seen clearly. Most important is the proportion of
nata de coco with a water solution of 3:1 to guarantee quality.
Enough with the talk about the process of making nata de coco,
moving on to the next activity which all of you have been waiting
for. By the way, just for all of you to know it is a habit of visitors
who come to wholesale goods here so now it is your turn. At
another corner as you can see they serve testers for visitors so
all of you can go there to taste the flavours available.

Laman Choco 4.25 PM - So now we are at Laman Choco. From the name itself you can
5.25 PM already guess what this place is about. Yes it is related to
chocolate which this place has 2 parts, the factory with a
shop that sell various types of chocolate and a cafe. This
place is owned by an entrepreneur from Sungai Besar,
Selangor. This Laman Choco which located at Jalan Parit 1 Kg
Sungai Haji Dorani is the HQ for the manufacture of Choco
Crispy' which has many agents from various states.
So first let's go into the Choco Crispy. Here you can shop
various type of chocolate. They also served samples for you
to try so go ahead and try it. It will be easier for you to decide
which chocolate you would like to buy. At this side, you can
custom your biscuit with some chocolate on top of it. After
you finish buying here, we are gonna move to the cafe so I will
be waiting outside.
Apart from the Choco Crispy factory, Laman Choco has also
expanded its business by opening a cafe located in the same
location. Interestingly, this cafe offers various types of food
such as laksa, meatballs, keropok lekor, homemade pizza,
waffles with various toppings, coffee, custom choco jar and

long year and now we arAedgdoinaglittotltehebietgogpflabnotdfyarmte.xWt hile we are
heading to our destinations, let me tell you a few reminders. Number
one is to put your trash in the trash bin or maybe as well put it in your
bag. Number two, never leave your things and attendants to avoid
unnecessary loss. Number three is please remain seated until we
come to a full stop in. Number four, always wear your protective gear
such as your face mask. Strictly follow social distancing and have
your hand sanitizer by your side. Number five, don't forget our bus
number which is number 7. Number six, before we proceed lets do a
head count 1,2,3....15. Perfect. Thank you very much. I think we should
have the same time in my time. It is 8 AM in the morning. Done.
Another time friendly reminder is to know my signal, if you hear a
whistle once this, it means too see the tourist, your time is on to
roam but if you hear the whistle blowing twice like this and my flag
being raised like this it means to tell the you that our time is off and
let's head off the bag to the bus. Any questions? Okay. So now, I want
to bring you all to one of tourism destination in Sungai Panjang,
Selangor which is eggplant farm. Do you know what is an eggplant
farm? Okay let me tell you about it. An eggplant farm is an area where
farmers grow eggplants and sell the produce to customers. Here we
can learn how to plant eggplant seeds, have the opportunity to pick
eggplants in the farm and buy eggplant vegetables that are available.
Now, I think we have landed at our first destination. Welcome to the
eggplant farm.

Eggplant 9.00 AM - We have arrived at the farm everyone. Make sure to bring wear
Farm 10.00 AM your cap or hat to cover yourself from the sun. Now lets go into
the farm. Let me tell you a quick guide to grow eggplant. Firstly
you need to make sure the soil temps are above 50° F to start
planting the eggplant. SApadcdeathleittelgegpbliatnot f24botody36teinxcthes apart
and stake them once established to prevent toppling. Choose an
area with abundant sunlight and fertile, well-drained soil. Improve
native soil by mixing in several inches of aged compost or other
rich organic matter. Next make sure to keep soil moist but not
soggy, soaker hoses are a great option. Keep your plants fed by
feeding them regularly with a continuous-release plant food.
Apply a layer of mulch made from organic matter, such as finely
ground leaves or bark, once plants reach 6 inches tall. Harvest
eggplant when fruits stop growing and their skin becomes glossy.
Remove ripe fruit with gardening shears, leaving a small portion
of the stem attached.
For harvest and storage it, fruits can taste bitter if picked when
underripe or overripe, so harvesting is part of the eggplant
grower's art. A perfect fruit will stop growing larger, have a glossy
skin, and show a sprinkling of soft, well-formed yet immature
seeds when you slice it open. Fruits with no visible seeds are
immature, and hard, dark seeds are found in overripe eggplants.
Use pruning shears to harvest fruit with a short stub of stem
attached, because the fruits will not pull free by hand. Rinse
clean, pat dry, and store in the refrigerator for several days.
Eggplant discolors rapidly when cut open, so work quickly when
preparing slices or skewers for grilling. Marinades that include
salt, vinegar or lemon juice will keep cut pieces from darkening.
So now it is time for you to pick your own eggplant if you feel like
buying and bring it back home. Make sure to always be careful
especially at the wet area because it might be a bit slippery. Don't
run and watch your steps. We will move to the next location at
10.00 am so enjoy your time picking and walking in this farm.
