Formal documents and information
As part of your programme and qualification you need to know about some key
areas regarding your registration, right to appeal and all the detail that relates to
your qualification.
Learner information and registration
Now you are into the flow of the course you need to be aware that your enrolment
details will be used to register you with the Awarding Organisation for this
qualification. The Awarding Organisations we use are NCFE and Highfield
Qualifications. Once you have completed the qualification you will be certificated via
the Awarding Organisation. We will send you and electronic version of your
certificate via email and post the original to you.
Assessment Marking Policy
As part of our support and commitment to ensuring you achieve your qualification,
we have an Assessment Marking Policy, this sets out the timescales and turnaround
of assessment and feedback following the submission of your work.
The key aspect to consider is the turnaround timescale, this is 10 working days, so
you can expect to receive feedback on your work within the timeframe. As we aim
to support you continuously and provide excellent customer service, we will aim to
complete your assessments and feedback quicker than the maximum duration.
Appeals and Complaints Procedures
As an approved centre of NCFE and Highfield Qualifications we have policies and
procedures in place for all aspects of the qualifications we work with and the centre
management processes.
As a learner you have access to an Appeals Procedure and a Complaints Policy
, should you feel the need to raise any issues that can't be resolved directly with
your Tutor / Assessor.
Learner Handbook
The Learner Handbook sets out all the information and details you need to be aware
of as a learner working with SL Training and Development.
If you need any further information, please contact your Tutor / Assessor.
