IPPS-A Case Study
As the prime contractor responsible for systems integration for the U.S. Army’s Integrated Personnel Pay System – Army (IPPS-A), EDC implemented PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.1 software along with Oracle 11g database capabilities to develop IPPS-A Increment I. IPPS-A is a web-based resource designed to provide integrated multi-component personnel and pay capabilities and create a comprehensive personnel and pay record for each Soldier for their entire career. IPPS-A will provide a single, multi-component trusted system with reporting capabilities that will provide a single record for all Army Soldiers and serve as a trusted data source for personnel and human resources data for the entire Army, allow for interface communications, and produce multi-component reports.
