I have spent the past few months filling out countless applications for jobs, programmes etc and by far the communication from the Nuffield Research Placement team has been amazing, before even submitting my application. In comparison to similar schemes and programmes, I believe the clear understanding and efforts of the team through constant communication is great, especially for students in such uncertain times! Special Awards went to: Currently, 15 students from Yorkshire and Humberside have achieved a Gold Crest Award. CREST is a scheme that inspires young people to think and behave like scientists and engineers. Going to University for Chemical Engineering next year and eventually getting a doctorate in this subject. "Do it; you won’t regret it! It is too much of a unique experience to miss out on." "Be confident and willing to talk to your project leader and ask questions because they have a lot of knowledge and advice to share, make sure you have a passion for the subject that you apply for because it will make the experience so much more enjoyable if you get to write about something you feel enthusiastic about."
