THE HEART
OF IT ALL
“In 2019, we followed an approach where we wanted to empower the organization and
reinforce it in order to support its original mission. The goal was clear and we had to power
through in the right direction - finding the perfect furniture fit for every home.
With a market and an economy that is continuously transforming, it is important to
understand and follow the changes that are taking place, including those related to the
taste and expectations of an ever more demanding clientele. We strive to offer customized
solutions and products that live up to those expectations.
2020 will see us involved in new and innovative commitments related to new trends and
collections, market expansions and beyond.”

NEW DECADE
NEW STORE
In its design and in turn in its philosophy, it represents a statement that even in the luxury market,
there is something for everyone. It stands to be an aspirational space where clients can better
envision outcomes and be excited to try new ideas while taking bold strides with colour palettes
and combinations they would otherwise feel intimated to try. “Safe and neutrals” are defined in
this showroom characterized by charcoal ceilings and wine, indigo, emerald as the wall colours.
Sliding panels with different backgrounds such as brick, wooden slats, cement, marble, etc. not
only make the showroom dynamic, but also give the client a taste of what their sofa or any other
furniture piece may look like in their home with these common wall treatments. Wispy white linen
curtains with light seeping through, create mystery and drama as they move from one setting to
another. The voluptuous arch element in the walls, show-windows and floor is a revival of classic
trends, bringing in a sense of quaintness to the space. But the paradox is that the space still
remains bold & provocative with its dim lighting, use of colours and sensual mood.
Ventura gives each client a personal experience and to assist at every stage of their home designing
process, irrespective of the scale or requirements. It is this experience they wish to take a few
notches higher with the new improved gallery - ensuring that the outcome always goes beyond
the clients’ imagination.
4
We at Ventura believe in the fact that architects, builders, store owners of furniture and furnishings,
designers of fashion, interiors and products are the ones who can change the people’s perception
and tastes by showing them something novel. They are the chosen ones with the mandate to
change the landscape of any country. Hence, as connoisseurs of the finer things, we are here
to kindle that flame and bring to light new ideas. Most homeowners find comfort in beige and
brown, and we’re not here to tell them “don’t to do beige and brown”, but we’re here to show
them how to make beige and brown exciting, perhaps with a complimentary rug that will bring
beige to life! And for the ones with a little edge in them, we’ll do away with their fear of colours
and show them how different shades can be used together to create a unique setting in their
own home. The showroom design - bold and risqué - does this exactly and we promise there is
something for everyone!

guiding philosophy is visible through every sofa, sectional, and chair they create. From the earliest stages
of a design’s inception to processing the raw wood, which will form the structures of Gamma’s sofas, chairs,

TÊTE À TÊTE
VINITA CHAITANYA, PRISM
Customisation will be a very important part of decorating trends. I
have been doing a lot in this area personally, with our finishes but I
see this being more relevant with our luxury products and furniture.
Clients expect small details and flourishes which make them feel
special.
In a few of my luxury projects last year I worked with Ventura. The
team is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. My projects were mainly
with brands such as Poliform, B&B Italia, Minotti, Cattelan Italia and
Colours - finishes and design details were all customised to my project
requirements. Delivery and installation were professional.
I know that Vishal has a large number of interesting brands which
he showcases and this gives me some amazing choices and loads of
inspiration to build from.
Currently, we designed and detailed one of the largest wardrobe
spaces ever in Bangalore for a beautiful farmhouse space and I’m
looking forward to the completed vision soon.
RAJESH SHIVARAM, TECHNOARCHITECTURE
The desire to respect the environment, the search for harmony in life
and mutual support will replace the wasteful consumerism for 2020.
The eccentric, bold colours and projects will be superseded by a
reasonbly modest, practical and environmental friendly design.
“God is in the details” - I have been following this mantra for the longest
time in my life/career that helped give an extra edge to my designs
and interiors. It’s always a great pleasure working with Ventura as they
are one of the best showrooms in town with the largest collection of
furniture and kitchens in addition to being throughly aware of the
present trends in design and interiors. Their teamwork and technical
know-how are widely appreciated.
Apart from being a great friend and personally knowing Vishal is
an asset to me and he makes sure the deliveries are on time and
satisfactory.I love all the brands that Ventura is associated with and
will surely recommend them for many more years to come.

FARAH AHMED & DHAVAL SHELLUGAR, FADD STUDIO
In 2020, we see colour blocking and monochromatism being
used in a big way.
By colour blocking, we mean using solid textures (like veneers
or cement finishes or even tone on busy stones) or colours (like
paint or solid wallpapers)against each other. Whether it’s two
adjacent walls in two colours or shapes on one wall in different
colour: texture combination or high contrast between a colour
block on a floor against another on a wall without any pattern,
we are starting to see some of this bold geometric aesthetic.
White walls And marble floorings are getting redundant and so
we expect other textures, colours and materials to come in the
forefront and redefine luxury. Here is where a monochromatic
sensibility comes in. Take these new and and interesting material
and textures and elements of furniture in the same colours
and put them against each other so one can fully appreciate
the colour in all its glory. Wall, floor, celing, and furniture to be
treated in the same colour.
Ventura takes cues from upcoming trends and uses them without
hesitation; be it the store design or even the furniture selection
itself which is primarily made up of solid colours playing off
each other. Needless to say, the store philosophy is to evolve as
trends are set.
GOPA MENON, PRAXIS INC.
Well-crafted objects complement their
surroundings and are an integral part of the
visual character of the space. Sometimes, from
being a part of the story, they become the story.
However lately, we see furniture being treated
more and more like fast fashion. Our modern
lifestyle has a short attention span, seeks instant
gratification and frequent change.
While the trends are fairly short-lived due to social
media and travel, designers in collaboration
with their patrons are continuously pushing the
limits and coming up with unique, bold and
experimental design solutions.
Praxis sees Ventura continuously catering to
discerning clients looking to make a meaningful
connection with their space and the objects they
surround themselves with, creating connections
that last.
