What to Expect on Our Barossa Valley Wine Tours from Adelaide
Our premium small group wine tasting tour offers you the perfect opportunity to experience the exquisite and stunning wineries in the
Barossa Valley region. The day starts off at Château Yaldara: home to what is undoubtedly some of the finest shirazes as well as magnificent
and well-preserved period architecture.
From Chateau Yaldara we drive through the picturesque vineyards of the Barossa Valley, and crossing Jacob’s Creek. The tour then arrives
at the historic township of Tanunda where there’s time to wander up the high street and explore the quaint little shops or enjoy a coffee. As
Google Rating one of the best getaways in Adelaide, our next stop is the renowned Peter Lehmann winery. There our group will enjoy an exclusive

Stopping to take in the breath-taking panoramic views of the Barossa from Mengler’s Hill Lookout, we head onwards to our next wine-

wines while taking in spectacular views.
We then head to our final destination, Wolf Blass Wines. From humble beginnings Wolfgang Blass has created one of the world’s most
iconic  wine brands. We enjoy sampling some of his extensive award winning wines with time to explore the state of the art cellar door.

About Taste the Barossa

Taste the Barossa is a small family owned company started by
myself, Dallas and my wife Nikki Coull. We met in 1997 while
I was working in Greece and Nikki was on holiday from her
home in Nottingham England. We have 3 beautiful children,
James (19) Georgia (16) and Tamsin (7) I have been involved
in tourism in Australia for over 17 years having previously
founded Groovy Grape Getaways and am very proud to still
see the Groovy buses traveling between Melbourne, Adelaide
and Alice Springs today.

After spending 6 years in the UK with Nikki we made the
move to Australia in 2009 and started Taste the Barossa. I
have a love for the Barossa Valley after spending a great deal
of my youth there with one of my first jobs being on the bottle
line of the Peter Lehmann Winery.

Over the last few years we have assembled a fantastic little
team that are as passionate about Adelaide and South
Australia as I am. I know you will have one of the best
Barossa Wine tours as you explore the stunning Adelaide
wineries.

Explore the Barossa valley on day tours in our
comfortable bus

There are a number of touring options when you are choosing a tour to the Barossa Valley. The main
points of difference are the structure of the wine tasting tours and the vehicles that are used. Our bus is a
20 seater Toyota Coaster Deluxe. These buses come standard with CD players, IPod connection and air
conditioning. I have always been a big  fan of these vehicles, not only are they extremely reliable they are
also very comfortable for the passengers and very economical. We make a real effort to make our buses eye
catching and enjoyable to spend the day in. It is normal for passengers to get a souvenir photo in front of

the bus and it's not unusual for people not even travelling with us to get a photo with our bus.

We’re the Barossa Valley Specialists: We also have options for private tours and private charters, if you want something

Google Rating more intimate with those you are travelling with.

When we took this tour in early April, my husband and I could easily see
why TripAdvisor reviewers have rated Taste the Barossa the #1 activity in
Adelaide. It is a very reasonably priced, comprehensive, extremely well-
paced, and highly enjoyable all-day tour of the Barossa Valley. Our guide
Ashley was well-organized, as well as very informative and entertaining. Four
wineries with tastings of a wide variety of delicious wines are visited. The
Weighbridge platter lunch served at the Peter Lehmann winery is fabulous – the
delicious meats, cheeses, breads, and accompaniments are the perfect meal to
enhance a day of tasting wine. There is a lot more to this tour than good wine and
food, however. Several stops are made along the way to enjoy the beautiful
scenery and fascinating history of the area. Ashley imparted his wealth of
knowledge while keeping the mood fun and relaxed. I can think of no way this
tour could be improved. A lot of thought and effort has been put into making this
tour the best Barossa Valley tour for the money in Adelaide. Don’t miss it!

We looked at a number of Barossa wine tours and yours seamed to tick
all the boxes, I have to say you not only met our high expectations you
well and truly exceeded them. Thanks….. Via Taste the Barossa Facebook
