When and where was it invented?

Photography was invented by a French printmaker
Named Joseph-Nicéphore Niépce in France around
1827.The word, came from the Greek photos"light” and
graphein “to draw". Niépce called his process
heliography, from helios meaning 'drawing with the
sun'. In 1826, using this process, Niépce took the
earliest surviving 'photograph' which is view from a
window of his house in Chalons-sur-Saône which
required an exposure of about 8 hours.

Other Inventors

A print made from a picture engraved printing plate in 1825. In 1826
or 1827, he used a camera to produce the oldest existing,(that was
preserved) photograph of a real-world scene. Among his other
inventions was the Pyréolophore, the world's first internal
combustion engine, which he conceived, created, and developed
with his older brother Claude Niépce

The Purpose of this Invention

The purpose of early photography
was to record the image of an object
through the action of light, related
to heat waves, on light-sensitive
material. It was to visually
communicate and express.

Example of visual
communication

Products that were created as a result of early
photography:

Traditional film-based methods were increasingly marketed as the advantages of the
new technology,it became globally appreciated and the image quality was more
accurately priced, digital cameras were continuously accepted. Also, the color process was

invented by Edmond Becquerel, in the early year of 1848.he discovered that lasting
exposure for hours or days was required and the captured colors were so
light-sensitive they would only, very briefly, appear in dim light. The first durable
color photograph was a set of three black-and-white pictures taken with red, green,
and blue color filters and tried overlapping by using three projectors with similar
filters. It was taken by Thomas Sutton in 1861 for the purpose of a lecture by the
Scottish physicist James Clerk Maxwell, who had claimed the method in 1855.

What impact did the invention have on the industrial era

Photography didn’t really affect the Industrial Example of people
Revolution that much,as it was a product of the documenting memories
revolution. Invented in the early 19th century in Paris,
photography allowed people to preserve memories good
or bad.People started traveling around the world, so they
started saving what they saw through photography. It was
important because they were able to save things that
happened and to show proof. It also changed our view of
the world.

What impact did the invention have on the
World?

By 1840, Talbot had succeeded in producing attractive images in a camera, with
short exposures yielding an invisible image that could be developed to produce a
usable negative. Something has impact when it produces a strong effect on
someone or something. Based on that definition, we may assume that impactf ul
photography would be something which produces a memorable experience in
the viewer, transmitting a strong message and leaving traces on their mind and
soul.
