PROJECT “ SAKSHAM”
With an aim to help elderly & differently abled
and beneficiairies in need and provide medical
assistance at the doorsteps of Ekalbara.
Saksham - A Speciality Camp was organized for
identified 216 differently abled and beneficiaries
in need residing in and around Mujpur. These
beneficiaries were provided with Impairment Aids
and assistive tools such as Wheel chairs,
Tricycles, Sticks for old age, HB Testing meter,
Hearing Aid, Special kit for TB Patients and
mentally challenged.

CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSEHOLD SANITARY LATRINE AND BATHROOM
With an aim to improve health and hygiene and
support in Swacch Bharat Mission, Transpek- Silox
has constructed 33 household Sanitary Latrine.
During the construction of household sanitary
latrine it was observed that for taking a bath
women had to go far off searching for isolated
places. Hence the company has initiated a project
"Right to Dignity" where in 64 household bathrooms
have been constructed

ADOPTION OF CHILD CARE INSTITUTES: (SHISHU GRUH AND NARI GRUH)
Child Care Institutes namely Nari Sanrakshan Gruh and Shishu Gruh situated in Nizampura, Vadodara have been
adopted by Transpek - Silox industry Pvt Ltd under the guidance and support of District CSR Cell (District Collector’s
office, Vadodara) in the year 2015.
Nari Sanrakshan Gruh is the home of destitute women aged between 6 to 60 years.Women and adolescent girls,
who are lost, mentally challenged, in conflict with law and who suffered from sexual assault, rape, or domestic
violence are residing in the Nari Sanrakshan Gruh.
Shishu Gruh is home for orphaned, missing and homeless children of age between 0-6 years.
With an aim to provide care and protection, transform lives of Nari Gruh and Shishu Gruh residents we are focusable
working under the 5 major areas which are as mentioned:

ADOPTION OF CHILD CARE INSTITUTES: (SHISHU GRUH AND NARI GRUH)
Further with the aim to improve psychological health of the members, a Counselor is appointed at Nari Gruh.
She is taking measures for better health and hygiene of the members. Until now, She has taken more than
300 counselling sessions followed by Art Therapy, Hypnosis and Free Association.
Gardening work has been initiated at Nari Gruh wherein inmates are growing tomatoes, brinjals, chillies, bottle
gourd, cucumber and other veggies.
Ganesh Pooja was performed wherein “Jai Ganesh” Aarti was energetically, enthusiastically sung by
Nari Gruh members and they enjoyed being part of the celebrations. They were happy for getting words of
appreciation for making a beautiful Ganesh Idol for their home. It was a “Moment of happiness and
Encouragement”. And a special occasion since a mute
girl residing in Nari Gruh contributed in making Ganesh Murti.
This celebration brought smiles and happiness among
the narigruh members.
At Shishu Gruh, nutrition supplements are being provided
on to infant children. Various co-curricular activities and
festival celebrations are organised such as children’s day,
Christmas celebrations etc. Regular educational kits like
puzzle games, block games, colouring books are being
provided on regular basis.
Both the institutes’ maintenance work is being taken care of ART THERAPY
so that proper hygiene, safe and secure conditions are
maintained.

BACHPAN - SUMMER CAMPS
A week long summer Workshop was organized for school children of Hynapura Prathmik Shala. 90 Children of
standard 1st to 8th Participated in the same - They were taught various aspects such as art and craft, behavior
aspects like cleanliness, good discipline and mannerism. At the end of the workshop, participants were given
token gifts for active participation in the camp.
SUMMER WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN
PROJECT PRERNA - SEWING CLASSES
In order to empower and make women self reliant, sewing classes were organised for a group of 35 community
women of Ekalbara. During the classes, Women learnt different techniques such as how to thread up a sewing
machine, wind bobbins, sew to a set seam allowance and zig zag edges - all the essential sewing and cloth
stitching, dressmaking skills, mobile cover making etc

PROJECT JANANI JANETA - ANAEMIA ERADICATION CAMP
For reducing maternal and infant mortality rate and contribute in building healthy generations, Iron Sucrose and
HB Tonics were provided to 55 High Risk Pregnant women in associaiton with Primary Health centre and medical
officers.
During the camp, a bhavai show was organised to promote “healthy eating habits and special care to be taken
during pregnancy”. At the end of the camp, nutritious snacks were distributed among the beneficiaries and their
family members

A social drive to support Kerala Floods
was organized. TSIPL members
generously contributed by donating

Kerala as part of Flood Relief.

SUKHAADI DAAN YOJANA: Nutritious snacks to #450 Aanganwadi children
With an aim to improve health and nutritional parameters of children of Aanganwadi, 15 Aanganwadies have
been adopted -10 of Atladra and 5 at Ekalbara site under Sukhadi Dan Yojana. Nutritious snacks such as boiled
channa, seasonal fruits, sprouts, Idli Chatni etc is distributed once in a week among the children of 15 Aangan-
wadies. Also Milk powder is being provided once in 20 days.

Transpek-Silox participates in celebrating various festivals by being part of the community. This year, Ganesh idol
making Workshop, Birthday celebration of school children, Rakshabandhan, Navratri, Gauri Vrat festival
celebrations were organised to inculcate social values and bring in sense of belongingness among the school
children and community at large.
