The ugly duckling

The Ugly
Duckling

It was a warm summer
day. A mother duck sat on
her eggs, waiting for the
eggs to hatch.

Finally, the eggs started
to hatch one by one.

A bunch of golden
ducklings appeared.

All the other ducklings
were glowing with golden
furs but the youngest
duckling was grey and ugly.

He was always left behind
and he felt very sad.

He could not take it
anymore, so he ran away
from home.

The ugly duckling stayed
at a swamp and spent a
long lonely winter,
struggling to survive.

Until one spring, the ugly
duckling landed by a lovely
lake surrounded by beautiful
white swans. He bowed his
head low and looked into the
the water.

He was shocked to see his
reflection. He had grown
into a handsome white
swan. The other swans
joined him. He was so happy.

Moral of the story :
You are beautiful just the way you are.
