A brilliant student named Zee is in class 5 ERIS. Zee is loved by his teachers. Everyone that knows him is pleased by his behaviour. If anyone needs help, Zee will help immediately without expecting anything in return. One day, a new student in the 5 ERIS class named Atlanta came. Atlanta is a kind and clever student. Since Atlanta moved into the 5 ERIS class, Zee has become mad at Atlanta because he always gets praise from teachers. Every teacher loves Zee, however he is still envious towards Atlanta. Every time Zee gets praise, Atlanta will get it too.
No way this cannot happen; every time I get the praise, Atlanta will get the same’, said Zee. Zee always observes and finds fault in whatever Atlanta does because Zee is still feeling envy. In the meantime, Atlanta is so happy to be in 5 ERIS classes since he gets the best treatment. ‘I need to do something to Atlanta’, said Zee. Zee feels envious of Atlanta and starts planning an evil plan. Day by day, Zee is getting more jealous of Atlanta, even still wants to carry on his lousy plan. Teacher Elly asked 5 ERIS to send their practical book in the next class. 'Please submit the task I have given before,' said Teacher Elly. Zee immediately submitted his practical book once he heard the instruction and said, 'This is mine, Teacher Elly'.
Atlanta is walking home from school. After tired walking, Atlanta saw Zee crying alone. ‘That’s Zee; why is he crying’ said Atlanta. Atlanta stopped and came to Zee because he wanted to help Zee, that fell from his bicycle. Zee, crying all alone, stopped when Atlanta came to help him. Atlanta helps Zee, that was in pain and helps to pick up his bicycle. Atlanta asked Zee ‘how did you fall from a bicycle? Is there anything I can help?’. However, Zee picked up the bicycle and went away without saying anything. Zee was still seeing Atlanta with grudges and envy. The next day, Atlanta met Zee and asked about his condition. ‘Zee, are you okay? How did you fall off the bicycle?’ said Atlanta. Zee looked at Atlanta without saying anything, even though Atlanta had helped him yesterday.
Zee is still envious of Atlanta and wants to do evil things to him. Full of envy, Zee goes to Atlanta’s table on rest time. ‘Ah! There is Atlanta’s book,’ said Zee. Zee ripped off Atlanta’s book that was on the table. Zee went away without feeling guilty. Meanwhile, Atlanta still searching for his book while saying, 'Where is my book? I have put it on the table. Zee sat back in his seat, remembered he ripped Atlanta's book and laughed. Not long after that, Atlanta goes to Teacher Elly and apologises to her because his book is already torn. Teacher Elly asked Atlanta to do the new book.
During recess time, Atlanta is running downstairs to go to the canteen. Atlanta falls down while happily running. Atlanta is crying and screaming in pain, asking for help. ‘Help! Help! Help!’ said Atlanta. Then, Zee accidentally heard that screaming while going to the canteen. Without wasting time, Zee run to look at what had happened. Zee is running towards the voice. Suddenly! Zee shocks seeing Atlanta that is crying and enduring pain. ‘Oh, that is Atlanta! It’s okay. Someone will help him later’. Zee went away, leaving Atlanta. However, Zee remembered the event when he fell off the bicycle. Atlanta was the one who helped him, even though he hated Atlanta. ‘Atlanta helped me when I fell down the bicycle’, said Zee.
Zee is finally aware of his mistakes. Zee helps Atlanta and apologizes for his bad behaviour with feeling really guilty. Zee tells Atlanta that he is the one who ripped off Atlanta’s book because of his envious. Zee said thank you to Atlanta because Atlanta always helps him even though he does not like him. Atlanta will always be good to Zee even though he knows Zee does not like him. Zee apologizes and promises he will no longer do the wrong thing to Atlanta. Since then, Zee realized his action and started being good to Atlanta. Atlanta and Zee become best friends and do most things together.
Moral value - We must not let envy conquer us because we don’t know what will happen one day. - We must be kind to each other and help them even though they does not like us. - We must not hate each other because they may be the person who will help us at the end of the day.
