Hello folks ! My name is
Mohammad Aidil Syukhrie bin
Mohd Nordin. I'm a student at
Institute of Teacher Education
Campus Tun Hussein Onn, Batu
Pahat, Johor. As a person who
use technology, I realise that
technology is a useful servant but
a dangerous master. Therefore,
I'm going to share my opinion
about the advantages and
disadvantage of technology.

INTRODUCTION

These days, technology and
people are inseparable. People

need to know whether the
technology that we use everyday

are our useful servant or a
dangerous master. After all,
without understand it, people will
soon fall for the consequences.
So, the purpose of this e-book is
for the people to understand
better about the technology they

use everyday.

THE DEFINITION OF TECHNOLOGY IS SCIENCE OR
KNOWLEDGE PUT INTO PRACTICAL USE TO SOLVE
PROBLEMS OR INVENT USEFUL TOOLS. TECHNOLOGY

HAS SO MANY BENEFITS THAT HELPS IN A
ADVANCEMENT OF CIVILIZATION. IT IS A POWERFUL
TOOL THAT PROVIDES NUMEROUS SERVICES. ON THE
OTHER WAY, TECHNOLOGY CAN ALSO BRING DISASTER
IN OUR SOCIETY IF IT IS NOT BEING HANDLE IN A GOOD
WAY. WHERE SOMETIMES PEOPLE CANNOT STOP USING
TECHNOLOGY BECOMES A PROBLEM. MOST PEOPLE
KNOW TECHNOLOGY HAS MANY ADVANTAGES AND
DISADVANTAGES. THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT CAN
BE USEFUL BUT CAN ALSO CAUSE LIFE TO BECOME

MISERABLE. IN MY HONEST OPINION, I PARTIALLY
AGREE THAT TECHNOLOGY IS A GREAT SERVANT BUT A
DANGEROUS MASTER BECAUSE WE CAN EASILY ACCESS
INFORMATION AND EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE

PEOPLE AROUND THE GLOBE HOWEVER WE HAVE NO
CONTROL.

First and foremost, the advantages of technology are that it is
easy to access information. We know that information is

everything nowadays. We can get information through google
just by typing whatever things on the internet that we want to

know at that time and magically the answer will be there.
Technology also displays an important role in studying and
working. With the Internet, students can look up and access to
enhance their knowledge or search for any ideas for their
assignment and homework. Moreover, this helps students to
learn more about modern life. Meanwhile, it is also a media for
people to develop their works, there are many works available
online. For example, they can do meetings through google meet.
Thus, technology is really helpful not only in studying but also

working.

Next, easy to communicate with other people
is an advantages of using technology. This is
because we can communicate with the people
far from us without we going anywhere. In this
pandemic situation, we cannot go anywhere as
we please. We have to stay at home so that we

will not get affected by the virus. So, with
technology we can communicate with our
friends from another state to another or even

around the globe with such an ease.
Communicate through what’sapp and
Instagram is a perfect example of how we can
communicate with other people around the
world. With these platforms, we can
communicate as if we were right next to one
another thanks to it’s quality video and audio.
The bonds between people would still contact
and people will appreciate each other.

On the other hand, technology can be a lethal weapon that
helps in the destruction of society. People would not be

able to control themselves if they often using the
technology. This is because they have a mindset that
without technology they cannot do anything. The teenagers
will only do their homework with the help of technology and
if they cannot use it, they would not do it. By that, they set
their lives on the technology. At the same time, if they stick

too much with the technology, they will lose their
consciousness and do the unnecessary thing with it like

playing games until late night. These attitude will only
destroy their lives in the future because they cannot control
themselves anymore and tend to ignore their surroundings.
Sooner or later, people around them will hate them and that
will destroy the community. So, people will lose control of

themselves if they wrongly used technology.

In conclusion, technology has changed in a blink
of an eye. As a society, we have realized that

without technology our lives would be slow-paced.
Not only from the point above but it has helped to
improve people knowledge, ability to work, and
greater ability to improve people communication.

People need to be up to date with technology
because that's what the future holds for us. In few
years from now, we will depend on technology to

survive since it is becoming a part of our lives.
technology can be very useful if people use it
wisely. But everything has it downsides. It is not
entirely bad but people can make a worth by using
technology. That being so, I partially agree that
technology is a great servant but a dangerous
master since we can easily access information and
easy to communicate with the people around the
world but we may lose control of ourselves if

technology were not wisely used.
