Note that when using a spring compressor, spring coils need
to be securely gripped, compressing the spring on the 14.1
opposite sides.
Ensure the correct position of the spring in the retainer.
Make sure that the spring coils tightly entered the lock
handles.

Unscrew the top fastening of the shock strut
mount.

Remove the top mount, the support bearing and
the upper spring cup.

Remove the spring. Remove the shock absorber dust cap and the
bump stop.
AutoDoc recommends:

Τhoroughly examine the shock absorber mount, dust boot,
bump stop. Replace them if necessary. Install a new shock absorber on a special fixture
Before installing a new shock absorber you should pump it for further mounting of the spring
manually 3-5 times. 18.2

Compress the spring.

Install the spring. 21.2

Install the top mount, the strut mount bearing and 22
the upper spring cup. Tighten the upper fastener of the shock absorber

Install the shock strut into the wheel arch. Tighten the shock strut top mount.
