We are Obligated to Make the Following Comments To ensure your privacy, hotel staff are trained not to disclose any information about registered guests including room numbers to any third person. They are also trained to confirm the identity of any guest who asks to be let into a guestroom or Suites without a key. • In accordance with the laws of Qatar, gambling is prohibited in any areas of the hotel. • The hotel may refuse entry to any outside vendors. • Guests are advised to use the in-room safes to keep their valuables including mobile phones, cameras and Laptops. Kindly be reminded that the use of in-room safe is at your own risk and discretion. The hotel is not responsible for any loss of cash or valuable items. Large items can be left for safekeeping with the Front Office. • Showing large amounts of cash will be a temptation. Please refrain from carrying large amount of cash and charge services to your billing account of your room. • Please keep a close eye on your personal belongings in all public areas both inside and outside the hotel. • Please contact Front Desk for any LOST and FOUND articles. FIRE SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS Fire Safety and Precautions • Smoking is not allowed in the non-smoking rooms, and subject to a fine. • Please take note on how you would vacate your room when it is dark or if there is smoke. • Please remember the location of the fire alarm and fire extinguishers. • Please make sure all cigarettes are properly extinguished before you retire for the night. • The uses of heating appliances such as hot plates, burners and using fireworks are strictly prohibited in the hotel. • Know where your key is at all times. Emergency Floor Plan is Located at the Back of Your Room Door. Should you have any problems with the electrical switches or sockets in your room, please inform Guest Services immediately. EVACUATION ALARM On emergencies, there will be an alarm that will prompt you to evacuate the premises. Once the alarm sounds, please do the following calmly: • Move steadily and continuously at all times, never run • If there is smoke in the corridor, stay as low as possible when moving and if necessary, move on with your hands and knees • Proceed to the nearest emergency exit and leave the buildingor proceed to the Refuge Area onthe 21st floor • Go straight to the emergency assembly point • Remain calm and follow instructions given by the Evacuation Staff Member • Go straight to the emergency assembly point PERSONAL SAFETY Your door is fitted with a double lock facility, which is attached from inside. We recommend that you use this feature whenever you are in your room to add security and privacy particularly at night.

CENTARA’S GREEN PROGRAMME At Centara Hotels & Resorts, we give great significance to the environment. We have also developed a comprehensive policy to promote business practices that help preserve the environment. Our goals are to ‘Reduce-Reuse-Recycle’ as much as we can. Electric Energy Conservation: We have implemented an energy management system and best practices to reduce energy use. We implemented a change of traditional incandescent light bulbs with energy-saving bulbs, using energy-efficient refrigerators in all bedrooms, scheduling preventive maintenance plans and using alternative energy sources, such as non-consumptive solar for heating and cooling. We kindly request you to assist us with the following; Green tips: • Turn off everything when you are not in the room. This includes lights, heat, air conditioning, and television. • Close curtains to ensure natural insulation of the room. • Use the air conditioner with care. Set the indoor temperature at 24 °C and never leave the air condition on when leaving the room or when doors or windows are open. • Use windows for natural light during the day, instead of lights.


CENTARA’S GREEN PROGRAMME Water Conservation: We have implemented water conservation practices by asking our valued guests to place our ‘Environmental Card’ on the side of the bed if you wish not to have your bed sheets being changed daily as well as placing your used towel on the towel rack and it will not be laundered daily. This practice will help us to save thousands of litres of fresh water a month while also reducing wastewater and reducing the use of chemical and energy resources. Green tips: • Use towels and bed linens more than once. We offer a card for you to place on the bed allowing you to use the same linens throughout your stay. • Do not leave water running while brushing teeth. • Take shorter showers.

Of our bathroom amenities are made from environmentally friendly packaging. All paper packaging is recycled. All bottles are manufactured in clear PET and can be recycled. All bottled ingredients and soaps are biodegradable. Here are some easy tips that you can practice during your stay with us. Energy Conservation: • Turn off everything when you are not in the room. This includes lights, air conditioning, and television. • Take the stairs if possible and avoid the lift. You can burn about 0.17 calories for every step you climb. • Unplug electrical appliances when you are not using them. Any electrical device that has an external power supply connected to it will continue to consume electricity even when powered off or in standby/ sleep modes. • Adjust the air-conditioning temperature to 25 degrees, which is the ideal temperature to regulate power usage. • Take a cool water shower to help reduce energy consumption from producing warm/hot water. • Use windows to harness natural light during the day instead of artificial light.


Water Conservation: • Opt for a rejuvenating shower instead of a bath. • Use towels and bed linens more than once. We offer a ‘Going Greener’ card for you to place on the bed allowing you to use the same linens throughout your stay. • Simply cutting one minute off your shower time and turning off the tap rather than keeping it running while shaving, brushing your teeth, washing your face, and scrubbing your hands can help save gallons of water every day. Waste Reduction: • Please make sure there is no food waste from your meals as we try to save the planet and its resources. • Utilise hotel dining rooms to decrease disposable items that come with take-out meals. • Bring your own toiletries to minimize waste from the prepackaged toiletries. • We send the recyclable waste materials for recycling.
