CHICKEN LICKEN

One bright sunny
morning Chicken Licken
was sitting under a tree
in the woods.

Suddenly an acorn fell
on his head. “Ouch!
What was that?” said
Chicken Licken.

He looked up and cried.
“Oh dear me! The sky is
falling down. I must go
and tell the King.

So he rushed off along path
in the woods to find the King.

Soon Chicken Licken ran into
Henny Penny who was
looking for seeds in the mud.
She asked him where he was
going.

“The sky is falling down. I’m
hurrying to find the King,”
said Chicken Licken. “I will
come with you,” said Henny
Penny

As they ran along the path
they saw Drakey Lakey, who
was swimming in the pond.

“Quack!Quack! Where are you
off to?” he asked them.

“The sky is falling down. We
are going to tell the King,”
said Henny Penny.

“I will come too,” said Drakey
Lakey. And off they went to
find the King.

As they were hurrying along the path they met Foxy Loxy.
“Here comes a hearty meal for me!” he thought.
“Where are all of you going?” he asked.
‘We are off to tell the King that the sky is falling down,” they said.
“I know where the King lives. Follow me,” said Foxy Loxy.

And wicked Foxy Loxy led them to a cave and gobbled them all
up.
