WILLOUGHBY: SINGLE STATION,

SOLID SURFACE LAVATORY

SOLID SURFACE FIXTURE | NON-POROUS
VANDAL-RESISTANT | COMMERCIAL | NEW PRODUCT!
Willoughby’s Tyler Givens provides insight on their
NEW offering:

Willoughby Industries adds another option to its elegant
and durable Envy Series! The single station, solid
surface lavatory system—a contemporary, solid surface
fixture for vandal-resistant commercial use in schools,
stadiums, office buildings, restaurants, and more—pro-
vides a stylish option for single-user applications in new
construction projects or existing bathrooms.

The lavatory features a contoured, single-user AquaSurf® solid surface lavatory basin with nine available finish colors. AquaSurf®—molded
cast polymer densified material composed of polyester/acrylic resin, UV stabilizer, aluminum trihydrate, mineral fillers, and proprietary
colorant—is a non-porous surface, and is resistant to stains, burns, and impact. While rare, damages to the surface can easily be repaired
with everyday cleansers and/or fine grit abrasives.

The lavatory also comes with a stainless steel drain grate and pre-assembled stainless steel pedestal, which includes a removable shroud
and mounting backplate. All connections between the outside plumbing and lavatory system are concealed within the pedestal, and the fixture
meets all applicable ADA, ANSI, and CBC accessibility guidelines when mounted at the correct applicable rim height above the finished floor.
The lavatory has optional faucet hole drilling and/or a wall-mounted stainless steel kick plate. READ MORE ON WEBSITE

Water Control: High-Capacity Ultrafiltration (HUF)

Point-of-Entry (Whole Building)

WATER FILTRATION | PATHOGEN CONTROL | FRONT-END FILTRATION | COMMERCIAL
Brian Soderholm, President of WCC, explains the vital nature of efficient, effective ultrafiltration:

High-Capacity Ultrafiltration Protects Your Building from Bacteria and Nutrients

Supplementary disinfectants, increased recirculation, flushing, and temperature treatments are all
useful tools in the fight against Legionella and other waterborne pathogens in plumbing systems.
What they CANNOT do, however, is protect your building from the continuous introduction of new
microorganisms and nutrients (food) from city water supplies. The risk of contamination is
especially high when cities experience “boil water” events (such as treatment plant breakdowns,
water main ruptures/service, etc.) – or when higher water temperatures in summer months lead to
bacterial “blooms.”

WCC’s Point-of-Entry HUF Systems eliminate this risk factor. HUF stands for High-Capacity
Ultrafiltration: basically a firewall filtration system that screens out 99.999%+ of all bacteria,
viruses, amoeba, particulates, and dissolved proteins BEFORE they can enter your water system;
flow capacities range up to 500+ GPM, and pressure loss is comparable to other typical filters/soft-
eners. The filters are self-cleaning and self-verifying. This equates to 10-20 years of operation
before replacement is required.

Specific advantages of HUF systems include:
- Protection for new buildings from Day 1 (through the construction phase and beyond)
- Enhanced efficacy of city-supplied disinfectants, due to elimination of biomass in the water
- More effective supplemental treatments in contaminated buildings, due to the elimination of new
bacteria and nutrients
- Elimination of “boil water” event concerns VIEW ON WEBSITE

can feed the faucet fixture with tempered water at ideal temperatures for hand wash applications as well as
