The Ministry of Education released the Bac II exam results on November 27 in Phnom Penh and Kandal province, and on November 28 in provincial centers across the country. The Ministry said it is confident in the accuracy of the results and asks candidates to trust the grading process. The exam is part of the evaluation of students after 12 years of learning, and candidates who receive unsatisfactory results still have other options for their future. Some common factors are: 1. Excessive workload and poor work-life balance: A continuous workload with so little break can lead to poor work-life balance, which makes it difficult to maintain mental health, wellness and well-being. 2. Insufficient professional and moral support: This correlates with inadequate mutual rapport, proper training, and essential mentorship to perform prioritizing tasks effectively. 3. Toxic organizational environment: Instead of providing constructive feedback in a mutual understanding way, it is so irritating to waste time on humiliating and bullying each other. 4. Suggestions from the author: I would like to suggest staying calm, find enjoyment in doing physical activities, break things into manageable tasks, and deal with things one by one. Aii offers a series of English, Chinese, and Thai language programs. Or Serey Wotanak is a student who is currently studying in GEP 8 at Aii Language Center Siem Reap Branch. He has experienced different kinds of things through Aii’s various competitions and challenges that have allowed him to gain experiences that could be used in the future. Or Serey Wotanak joined the Aii Siem Reap branch when it first opened for registration. He was in level 4 when he joined. His favorite level throughout the levels he has studied is level 7 because he said that the teacher was very funny and friendly. The type of person that made him more invested in the lessons. He had two specific and obvious goals before joining Aii which were making new friends and to learn more about English. Throughout his experiences, he says that Aii has shaped him into a confident person, and has given him more awareness of things that could happen around him. Ultimately, this has allowed him to know more about himself. During his time at Aii, he has improved a lot, especially in his way of speaking English. Now, thanks to Aii, he speaks grammatically correct English. He also has improved a lot with his listening skills, but still isn’t confident about his writing. He was kind enough to share with me the 3 things he loves about Aii. Those things are: the teachers are very friendly, the environment is very clean, and the teachers are dependable. He says that having different activities in each level made school more fun and made him less stressed. Aii’s different types of competitions allow students to showcase their abilities, which is a great way to develop student confidence. It also allows them to showcase their talents, giving them a chance to show off the English skills they have learnt over the years. In the near future, he looks forward to achieving his goal of receiving full score on the TOEFL exam. He is very confident in getting a good score on the TOEFL exam using the knowledge he has learned with Aii. To conclude, all of the experiences and impressions of Or Serey Wotanak, shows that he relies on Aii’s program to be able to succeed in tasks that he’ll be facing in the future. He also thinks that Aii is a great school for people who are looking forward to developing their English skills.

Throughout my first term at Aii Language center, I really enjoyed my teacher Vatanakpanha Sophoan and my beloved classmates in General English Program Level 4A. Speaking of my teacher, in all of my experience studying English I have never encountered a teacher this energetic, enthusiastic, comedic and entertaining in his way of teaching. He is really precise about his teaching strategies, and he is also very relatable with his students as well. He used memes, cracked a lot of jokes, and told quite a few stories to keep his students entertained while engaging them to study. Overall, I think he is my favorite teacher so far and I hope that I will see him again in then next term. Studying with him is entertaining and this makes the class more enjoyable. We also find the lessons to be more interesting because of his engaging techniques to relate the content to things we enjoy outside of class. A very creative teacher indeed! As you might already know, Aii Language Center provides countless opportunities for students of all levels to experience lots of things. One of those opportunities is the TOEFL Exam, a widely recognized examination that assesses the English language proficiency of non-native speakers. It measures reading, listening, and writing skills and is commonly used for admission into Englishspeaking universities or for immigration purposes. Not only that, Aii also provides every student with a mock test to prepare for the real exam. Throughout all the mock tests, I feel that taking the mock test has many benefits for ESL students because it allows us to become familiar with the types of questions we'll encounter such as the time constraints and the overall flow of the exam. Mock tests can help build confidence, refine test-taking strategies, and identify areas where we may need to focus our study efforts. As an Aii student, I find the TOEFL test to be very beneficial as it provides a standardized evaluation of our English abilities, and it helps us to measure our English proficiency level. It also serves as a motivating factor for language learners, encouraging them to improve their English skills and achieve their academic goals.
