What is Software Testing?

Software Testing is the process of checking computer applications or programs for
functionality issues. It involves execution of a software component or system
component to evaluate one or more properties of interest.

Software Testing also helps to identify errors, risks, gaps or missing requirements
in contrary to the actual requirements then share their results in a report with
feedback and recommendations on improvements for the software developer.
