• Never give out your personal information to people on the internet
• Personal information includes
• Phone number
• Address
• schools you go to
• Credit card information
• Password to anything
• Giving out this information can let people hack and use all you information
UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION
• If you come across some uncomfortable situation on the computer tell you parents
or a near by adult.
• Don’t be scared about getting in trouble everything will be okay
MEETING YOUR INTERNET “FRIENDS” ?
• Never agree to meeting anyone from the internet irl (in real life)
• However if you do want to meet them in irl…
• make sure you go over it with your parents and that are okay with it
• Make sure its in a public place with many people alone.
• Never go to a private place with them ( they could be dangerous )
MEAN MESSAGES
• If you ever receive a mean message from a person on the internet…
• DON’T RESPONDE
• Delete message
• Block person so they cant message you anymore
• Same thing goes the other way around. NEVER send mean messages to anyone on
the internet
• Sending mean messages is consider cyber bullying.
• cyber bullying is a cause of children/teen deaths.
• Be nice on the internet
DOWNLOADING CONTENT
• Never download anything without parents permission
• Some content can have viruses that can overtake your computer and steal information.
So check before you spend
• Never download illegal content
• This could cause problems with the police
• And could also get you parents in trouble
